I agree with you. Just head down to Whiteman AFB. They got a boat load there. Every once in a while you can see them transporting one down Hwy 13 right through Warrensburg.

You may recognize the reference, but I can't recall who said it. It was an enlightenment philosopher I believe, but anyway. I once read a statement that the biggest drains on a society are the very rich and the very poor. It is obvious that the chronically poor require outside support in order to survive putting that burden on society. While the inclusion of the very rich I took to mean the very rich (ultra rich) produced nothing and secured wealth away from circulation while avoiding giving Caeser what is his due.

I don't have anything against someone becoming wealthy by the sweat of their brow and strain on their back. The effort has resulted in this great nation to some extent. But wealth is not Sainthood. It doesn't provide you with any more rights than already guaranteed by the Constitution. It shouldn't be left to run wild at the expense of others trying to achieve.

‘UNABLE TO LOCATE’:$500K WORTH OF EQUIPMENT BOUGHT WITH STIMULUS MONEY GOES MISSING
The Energy Department’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) claims that it is “unable to locate”$500,000 worth of taxpayer-funded equipment purchased by a recipient of the “Advanced Batteries and Hybrid Components Program,” CNSNews.com ’s Penny Star reports.

Just to be clear, a company that was awarded stimulus money claims it spent $500,000 on equipment that the OIG can’t seem to “locate.” Who, pray tell, was that company?

ARPAIO'S OBAMA PROBE FINDS 'NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT'
Hawaii found to be bogus birth-certificate factory

PHOENIX – After determining earlier this year there is probable cause to suspect the document released by the White House as Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said today he believes his Cold Case Posse’s investigation should be advanced to the federal government, based on further information released today at a press conference under way now in Phoenix that is being live-streamed by WND.

20 REASONS WHY IT'S GREAT TO BE BARACK OBAMA

1) It's all the golf you can play and as many free vacations as you want. The teleprompter tells you what to say to the crowd and if anybody makes a joke about you, someone calls him a racist!

2) You get a Nobel Peace Prize just for showing up.

3) No matter how much worse black Americans do under you than George W. Bush, Kanye West is never going to say, "Barack Obama doesn't care about black people."

4) You can eat a dog and PETA will still love you.

5) No one seems to find it odd that you simultaneously repeat Harry Truman's famous line, "The buck stops here" -- as you blame George Bush, Republicans in Congress, greedy corporations, the European economy, and even ATM machines for your many, many failures.

6) The Occupy Movement still loves you despite the fact that you've shoveled billions of dollars in taxpayer dollars to Wall Street firms via bailouts and loan programs.

7) You can have a net worth of 11 million dollars, go on multiple 6 figure vacations per year, and hobnob with the wealthiest Americans at swanky 40k a plate fundraisers; yet no one bats an eye when you criticize Mitt Romney for being rich.

8) The press doesn't incessantly repeat the body count in Afghanistan in every article about the war, like it did when George Bush was in Iraq.

9) You get to keep Gitmo open, sign on to the Patriot Act, fight in Afghanistan and kill terrorists with drone attacks while leftists complain that you haven't tried to go after Bush for committing "war crimes" because he did the same things.

10) The mainstream press judges you not on what you've done, but on whatever you happen to be saying right this moment, even if it's different from what you were saying yesterday.

11) After creating jobs overseas with stimulus money, you can criticize Mitt Romney for having a Swiss bank account without being laughed at despite the fact you're holding fundraisers in Switzerland, Sweden, Paris and China.

GUN CONTROL, RACE, AND ROTTEN POLITICIANS

Is gun control really about guns? Sounds like an odd question on the surface, but it’s really right on target. In fact, the answer is: No, gun control is not really about guns. It’s about failed social programs, the destruction of the black family in America, and the rotten politicians who are responsible.

The “welfare handouts in exchange for votes” schemes began in the 1930s with Roosevelt’s New Deal, and they coincided with the beginning of the dissolution of the American black family. Although discriminated against back then, blacks had about the same percentage of intact family units as white families, and as a race black crime was about the same as white crime. Today, thanks to decades of accelerating “welfare for votes” social engineering, the black family unit in the ghetto is history (welfare checks have replaced fathers) and the black crime rate is manyfold that of whites.

If there was one thing the Revolutionary generation agreed on — and those guys who dress up like them at Tea Party conventions most definitely do not — it was the incompatibility of democracy and inherited wealth.

With Thomas Jefferson taking the lead in the Virginia legislature in 1777, every Revolutionary state government abolished the laws of primogeniture and entail that had served to perpetuate the concentration of inherited property. Jefferson cited Adam Smith, the hero of free market capitalists everywhere, as the source of his conviction that (as Smith wrote, and Jefferson closely echoed in his own words), "A power to dispose of estates for ever is manifestly absurd. The earth and the fulness of it belongs to every generation, and the preceding one can have no right to bind it up from posterity. Such extension of property is quite unnatural." Smith said: "There is no point more difficult to account for than the right we conceive men to have to dispose of their goods after death."

The states left no doubt that in taking this step they were giving expression to a basic and widely shared philosophical belief that equality of citizenship was impossible in a nation where inequality of wealth remained the rule. North Carolina's 1784 statute explained that by keeping large estates together for succeeding generations, the old system had served "only to raise the wealth and importance of particular families and individuals, giving them an unequal and undue influence in a republic" and promoting "contention and injustice." Abolishing aristocratic forms of inheritance would by contrast "tend to promote that equality of property which is of the spirit and principle of a genuine republic."

Others wanted to go much further; Thomas Paine, like Smith and Jefferson, made much of the idea that landed property itself was an affront to the natural right of each generation to the usufruct of the earth, and proposed a "ground rent" — in fact an inheritance tax — on property at the time it is conveyed at death, with the money so collected to be distributed to all citizens at age 21, "as a compensation in part, for the loss of his or her natural inheritance, by the introduction of the system of landed property."

Even stalwart members of the latter-day Republican Party, the representatives of business and inherited wealth, often emphatically embraced these tenets of economic equality in a democracy. I've mentioned Herbert Hoover's disdain for the "idle rich" and his strong support for breaking up large fortunes. Theodore Roosevelt, who was the first president to propose a steeply graduated tax on inheritances, was another: he declared that the transmission of large wealth to young men "does not do them any real service and is of great and genuine detriment to the community at large.''

sometimes wish the knee-jerking idjits would actually look something up before showing their complete and total stoopidity.

You have no doubt he had them. Listen up numb nuts, he did have them. He did gas the Kurds. In the 1980's. What truth. The lack of evidence that he didn't have any WMD from the time of the first Gulf War to the 2nd.

C'mon DUMMY, you are just speculating, because there is no evidence that he had WMD during that time and you don't know dick. Truth. What you know about the truth is how to bend it, break it, twist it in knots or fabricate it out of thin air.

Why don't you shut your mouth for a while. Public opinion of the GOP would rise nearly 25 points.
