Does anyone know if this company is any good. I need some serious work done at my house, whole system needs replaced but I don't want to use PResley. Opinions and testimonials would be greatly appreciated! Also if you've had them replace your system and could give me a heads up on approximate price of new system that would be nice too!

Everybody in this town charges a fortune. I had a quote for a new heating system from here and Paducah. There is a $5,000.00 difference. Your best bet would be to put in a new unit which is a whole lot cheaper, which is what I did. A new unit costs about $2,500.00 which includes a warranty.

Try Spraggs Heating and Cooling. They are pretty reasonable and reliable.

Rick Leonard is a joke. He charges way more than other people in town and has a tendency to argue if you call him on a mistake. He tries to act like him and his guys couldn't possibly make a mistake and that you must have done something wrong. I won't ever, ever use him again. His plumber charged me several hundred dollars for a clogged pipe and then charged me again when it clogged up again just days later. I haven't used him since.

Stay away from Rick Leonard. He is not a good person to do business with. Won't stand behind his work, even after spending over $6000.

It comes with directions. There are also handymen all over town who knows the basics and should only cost you about $100.00 for them to help you install. I am a female with no knowlege of anything mechanical. But if you can read then you can install it yourself.

We used Rick Leonard when we remodled our house and needed all the ductwork cleaned out. They were VERY reasonable and did a great job. We have also used Presley's and they did a good job also. I would at least call and talk to them first and then make up your own mind.

I went there to get a part for my furnace, and all any of them did was try to sell me a display furnace that was a discontinued unit they had on sale. I went back back several times, eventually dropping off my unit for them to troubleshoot the problem. Long story short, after 2 weeks, I went to pick up my repaired unit, and they hadn't even looked at it. But, again, they pushed me to buy their discontinued unit. I took my unit, figured out the problem myself, and bought the part at Lowe's for 1/4 the price and replaced it myself. I will NEVER use Rick Leonard's again, for anything. My money is going to a company that cares about it's customers, like Sluschers! My opinion only folks!

I had Rick leonarnd's ppl come out and replace my pump. It took two ppl to check the pressure on the pump and put on a couple of pipe fittings and a whole day to find a replacement pump which they never did. They charged me $90.00 in labor and $30.00 in parts. They told me that they couldn't find a new pump anywhere south of cape. When and if they did locate one it will probably cost me anywhere from $500.00 to $800.00 to buy and install it. That afternoon I went out and found several pumps on my own in Sikeston. Bought one for $299.00 and had help with replacing it. It only cost me $350.00 doing it ourselves. After that I lost all confidence in Rick Leonard and his crew for honesty and dependability.

it is for me about price and availablity of replacement parts and warranty i know goodman makes you go through a dealer even to get warranty parts you can't get them or buy them unless you are a contractor and if you do find somewhere that sells them they gouge you carrier lennox and trane parts are expensive.all these units use the same compressors now so they are for the most part equal.don't fall for the ultra high effeciency deals unless you are just wanting better warranty and quieter.they dont save you enough money in sikeston to justify buying them
