Opinions?
I've been there once. The service was friendly and I liked the laid-back atmosphere.
I would love to see this place stay open, so I'm starting this forum to provide some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism for the owners.
#1- both of our dishes (lasagna & pasta sampler) were WAY too salty and had grease floating on top. The salt was the only thing we could taste.
#2- Both dishes were soupy and served in a bowl swimming with sauce. Why? Lasagna should be firm enough to cut into a square and serve on a plate. Manicotti & ravioli should be as well.
#3- the bread had a good flavor but was very tough and cold.
I will give them a few weeks and try them once more to see if they've improved.

It could be better. I didn't like the bread.Tea has a funny taste to it.I did not like that the salad did not come with the dinner.

I totally agree. Even a small side salad would be fantastic while waiting for your entree.

I heard they had really large portions. I haven't tried them yet.

Portions were large. I didn't think the spaghetti was that good. Can't comment on the bread, it had parmesian cheese on it and I can't get past the smell of that stuff.

The best part of my meal there was the salad.

Ate there once, will definately eat there again. I had the chicken fettucini alfredo, was very very good, compared to Olive Garden, I think the dish was better at Morina's. Would have like to have a salad with it. The tea tasted fine to me and the bread was also ok. I hope they last. I saw the spaghetti and my dad had 3 meals out of it and he said it was really good. The lasagna needs improvement, needs more meat. But over all it's clean and a very good restaurant.

The meals are frozen as with all Italian and Mexican restaurants.

Been there twice. First time was spaghetti. Large HOT serving, with two big meatballs.
I usually do not eat much spagetti after I finish off the meatballs, but I found the flavor so good that I stuffed myself on the pasta. The rolls were excellent. Ice tea was unusual in that it was no too strong, nor too weak. Excellent service.
Second time I had the "Morinas special". Again, large portion. The chicken in it was bland and the dish was over salted, but the italian sausage made up for it. Leftovers went home for the next day's dinner.. Wife had a pasta dish that was flavored well but a little weak on the noodles. Her leftovers also went home.
The wait service was friendly and not too obtrusive. Italian music set a nice mood on the first visit, but it was replaced by CW on my second, which I found to be disappointing.
My fingers are crossed for this restaurant. It's a nice change from the Chinese and Mex places in Sikeston, not to mention the salt, fat and fried at the "throwed rolls" place.
Others here in town must agree, because the place is usually full in the evenings during the week.

Loved it!!! I had the linguini with clams and white wine sauce...amazing. Wife had the sampler and loved it. Friend ate the chicken premavera and loved it. Real authentic Italian food and a reasonable price. It seems like someone is just slamming the place and giving everyone a load of doo doo. The service was excellent and yes we did get a salad before our meal. Also had the kalamare for an appitizer....Mmmmmm Mmmmmm. They also serve subs and other cheaper items.
