The people at this place are complete morons. Someone in my family needed energy assistance last month - their bill jumped from $150 to 3 times as much. This person is on disabily and has a fixed income. When we called to get her help, they said they would help but we needed a disconnect notice first. Got that today and called back, now we are told they never even had then funds last month to help her, and now since we waited on this disconnect notice for them, since that's what they wanted, we have two months to pay now which is nearly $1,000 plus late fees! If they don't have funds, why tell people they do and to wait until it's being disconnect for them to help? That's causing a lot of people to get screwed over.

They have been messed up for at least ten years that I know of. It is a good program and they DO get money to help the community but the employees are disorganized, inefficient and rude.

Why in the hell is it someone elses responsibity to pay their bill?

Damn if your bill is that much why not conserve a little. So it went from 140 to 450 to 1000. Something sounds a little fishy about that.

Anyway us taxpayers are tired of paying our bills and everyone elses too. I work two jobs now to take care of my family. Let their family work another job to help pay the bill of this disabled person.

Its someone in your family. Family takes care of family. You and the other members of your family need to get another job and help your this member of your family pay the damn bill.

Amen there!!! I'm sick of the same shit. My husband is never home because he has to work out of town so we can pay our own bills. Guess they would starve too if their food stamp card got lost.

They only get so much money and there are rules to go by. Try working in their shoes and see how it is when you lazy idiots come in complaining all the time because you cant get something for nothing.

Why do so many people feel entitled to handouts? I have to pay my utilities.
