I think this is the crazist thing I've ever heard of. Why did they have enough evidence 3 weeks ago to charge her, then still have enough to NOT reduce her bond at the bond hearing and now she's walking free? Would love to know what changed. This is not justice for Kendra at all.

It could have been an accident!! They considered all the evidence and made a decision.

Sounds more like manslaughter than murder to me, especially when it is not provable.

It is better to let a guilty person go free than condemn an innocent. I don't see the court system as simply being there to punish bad people, but to protect the good ones.(theoretically of course)

"When asked if his office would continue pursuing the murder charge, Boyd would only say the investigation into the matter will continue."

I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the murder charge and pursued manslaughter though.

Hello...it was presented in front of a Grand Jury (made up of citizens of Scott County), not a judge. You are pointing fingers in the wrong direction.

It's like Kendra died die nothing, cause this sure doesn't serve her any justice , nor does it give the family any closure. Someone needs to pay for this cruel life altering situation.

I am assuming you were trying to say 'died for nothing'? The judicial process NEVER gives meaning to anyone's death.

What it sounds like you want punishment .. and that wheel is still spinning

Whatever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty? Seems people would prefer it the other way around. Unless they were to be accused of something, of course. If the Nazi-esque(not my words, but those of Sikeston residents) Sikeston police couldn't build a murder case for the prosecution, then there apparently isn't one. She was judged by a jury of her peers, not a jury of friends and family of the victim, in order to receive a fair trial. Should we just do away with that right, along with the many others that are eroding away? There is a lesson to be learned here though: this is just one of many possible tragic outcomes from kids and partying.

Yes, there should be punishment. She was driving and Kendra is still gone. And nothing can change that sad fact. Justice needs to be served for her life, instead of acting like her life meant nothing.

She is the one that is going to live with this all her life! It will be with her forever. I feel like that in itself is a punishment. I agree she shouldn't have walked free, that is so not right.

I dont think she will have this on her mind at all, tampering with evidence, leaving the seens not knowing if the girl was dead, maybe she could have help her if it was an accident. When all or if all charges drop she will move on as it never happen. She pleaded not guilty, what do that say about her attitude or concern, shes a liar and a coward, if this was your child laying in a box never to speak to you again forever gone nothing but a baby would you feel just her knowing she killed a person would be punishment enough, I dont think so. A life was taken someone need to pay the price and the price is not a free walk.

maybe the family of the girl that died should sue every person involved just like that man that was convicted wrongly of killing michelle lawless did.

well I think they did right by dropping the charges. There was so many witnesses and none of them could tell the same story. and why wasnt the person that bought the drink charged for having this under age drinking party in there home. Like I said even with all the witnesses they could not prove she ment to do it. You people just need to get over it and stop wishing bad on people before bad happens to you, GOD DONT LIKE UGLY.

I think what she did was very wrong and i said she needs to be behind bars. But if I did something like that it would be on mt mind everyday, I could not live with myself. I do not know her so I do not know what type of person she is. I just commented on my point of view, She does not need to be free though!
