I heard him speak last Friday and I plan on supporting /campaigning for him!

He stands for his Christian principles and the US Constitution (as this nation is SHREDDING the Constitution and turning it's back on God as we speak!!)

One reason is: He STOOD - he didn't back down - he was criticized, ridiculed, condemned, threatened, and even his own party turned their back on him - holding back funding to him.
He still stood and shows he has backbone unlike who we have in office now! At first I was surprised that he didn't step down because of all the controversy yet after hearing him speak I have much respect for him. That he stood his ground -went against the flow.
We need more politcians like him. When the kitchen gets too hot - he doesn't tuck tail and run.

Secondly: YES, he misspoke! EVERYONE has done that at one time or other. But not everyone has been interviewed and respond off the cuff as I am sure is harder then most people think it would be!
Altho' "some" are given a pass when they make a gaffe (swept under rug) such as Obama with his 'campaigning in 57 states'/ or saying ‘10,000 people were killed’ by KS tornado - there was exactly 12!/ his ‘slip’ when being interviewed and talking about his “Muslim faith w/ Geo. Stephanopolas (sp?) correcting him “you mean your Christian faith” OR Joe Bidens gaffes---telling wheel chair bound Mo State Sen. Chuck Graham to "stand up" during speech in Columbia/ his “three-letter word: jobs”/much less all of his ‘four letter words'(too many to list all of them besides all the open mic gaffes for both)!! NO – those gaffes are always down played!!

Thirdly: Yes –“legitimate” wrong word – possibly meant ‘violent’ or ‘brutal and regarding rape victim unable to get pregnant....could have recalled 1999 medical journey, such as:
http://trenchpress.com/... .?

I am sure there is much more behind this – then people want to believe – the Dems esp. Claire esp. saw him as a threat?? Lord only knows anymore – what is behind politics. More often then not-$$.

So – therefore – IMHO –(like it or lump it)

I think Todd Akin should be our next US Senator for MO. Time for Claire to go –basically she has implied that SHE knows what is BEST for us uneducated fools!!
as she told her constituents (PB town hall meeting) to 'don't make me use my Mommy voice”!

and as for the GOP is being petitioned to reengage his funding or they will not be seeing any financial backing here.

So much for tolerance / empathy! Conservative get no passes!

Todd Akin for Senate!!

Constitution! He voted for the NDAA bill that allows indefinite detention of American citizens. It is being upheld in court as unconstitutional!
He voted to raise the debt limit. Not very Christian-like to spend monies you do not have and can never pay back.
I thought about voting for the lesser of two evils, but the lesser of two evils is still evil.
Don't care about some stupid comment. All that did was show what the establishment does to their own.
A distraction from his record.
Let's put him in so he can fix what he help break.
Real smart people!

Some known members of the liberal party.
Bill Clinton, I did not have sex with that woman.
Barney Frank at a queer party with his lover.
Robert Byrd X Klan Wizard
Maxine Waters & Charles Rangel Ethics Probe
Eric Holder Contempt of court
Ted Kennedy the swimmer
The whole Democratic party denying God at their convention
And the list goes on
MMM MMM MMM GOOD
My point of contention is, asking you where the "morals" were when the individuals I listed were commuting their acts. This goes back to your comment that said Republicans have "morals". Now you are saying they only have morals that can be applied to each other once the act has occurred and been discovered.

Factoring your blanket statement that "Republicans have morals", I ask again. Where were the morals when those people were committing their deviant or disdainful acts?

How can those "libs" be expected to give him a pass when his own party's VP candidate tells him to step-aside in the Missouri Senate race?
The establishment telling him to step down and their lack of support just secured his vote from me.

Hmmmmm. A very valid and justified way of thinking, I must admit.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aquarius

Someone is confused and muddled today, making it difficult to talk for long without becoming equally bemused. Avoid making decisions or researching important information, because there's a strong possibility of getting crossed wires, or talking at cross purposes. A memory may also be distorted now, leading to mix-ups or bewilderment.
