Sorry to see them close, I though it was a good place to eat. Anyone know what it closed?

The restaurant's front doors....?.. You axed.
Check the company's website...
I would guess this community was not profitable. There is an over abundance of eateries in Sidney as well as other services. Manufacturing Industries seem to be avoiding Shelby County which means outside cash is not infusing our economy. All that happens is local cash recycles locally. Exchanging hands locally while taxed at each transaction until there is no value left.
Why civic leaders aren't promoting attracting an educational institution to our community, and thereby infusing that much needed cashflow into the economy....in Shelby County......for Shelby County ? Not for the benefit of Miami or Auglaize or Logan or Darke, but for an Shelby County educational investment. There are too many half-full cup dumb masses and no visionaries.....

Ate there the last nite. I miss Ponderosa. Sidney has become a backwoods community where residents leave to find quality eateries and shopping. Civics leaders tell us to get educated up the road and by God I'm shopping down the road, up the road, anywhere but here. Their motto: Support other communities with your tax dollars.

It seems our family is always going to a different town to eat. Sidney is very limited. Not a fan of Hussey's (yuck), Bob Evans and Applebees are not on my favorites list either. If we want good wings we head to Hinder's. The kiddos like Culvers, it seems to be about the only eatery in Sidney that we as a family visit.

It is sad that I always travel out of Shelby county to shop/eat-out! The city looses out of on tons of tax dollars. I am sure I am not the only person. Unfortunately, with gas prices/economy we eat at home 95% of the time, and I plan my shopping when I go to visit my in-laws in Troy and Centerville.

Sidney is the weak sister of cities in West Central. Weak municipal government, weak civic leadership, weak educational opportunities. That includes county as well.
The Co. Commissioner in a feature article said all you have to do is go up the road to attend college. Well guess what, we can take our buying power up the road too, and take all those sales tax dollars with it.
