What ever happrned to being inocent untill being proven guilty??? William Lee Trapp has been jail for a year since then they have about killed him He is a diabetic has lost bottom of legs. this was prier to being incarciated. But in this years time from the care (or like of care) he has lost his kidneys hr starts dialises friday, has congestive heart failure all do to the lack of care the young man has had at the jail. They dont see that he getes to eat what he should has to craw around like a dog becauce a lot of thinks are not hanndicap availiable. The young man was in the houspital last week the Doctor said he needed to go to a convelesing home to asure care for him. The jail said they could take care of him 6 pieces of bread a day and spaghetti, the only reason he cant go home to get the care is because the judge says it will cause a up rising< So Zimmerman can you deal with killing a innosent man be cause of your thinking (have you heart oat all do you have children of your own think about it if they were sick and you couldnt help them where your heart) Most every one in sidney knew wills dad the late Bill Trapp, wounderful man, william Lee is inoscent give his family the decents to let this boy go home to finish out his time he will be there for his trial he wants this to prove him inoscent .. come on lets here what we all have to say for this young man being treated like a animal in the county jail

The fact of the law going against the law is mind blowing, they need to do something to help this man before he does die.it would be alot better for him to be in fair -Haven to get the treatmeant he needs. It's just not right in so many ways. It's the law to be given treatment, they are going against protocol it's their duty to give this man the medical treatment he deserves as a human being. They are guilty of this crime!!!!!!

It a shame the law has a right to treat people the way the want and it lies in our judges hand they have no compassion for no one the need to sweep off thier own back porches be for the try others, Most of these judges are on as much drugs as on the streete i think all judges should be drug tested be for any decision they make, Look at the judge from tennessee he was hooked on pain pills buying them from people he sencened, I think this case needs looked in to by higher ups because soming thing is not right here. I thought it was a state law everything has to be hanndycapped acceptable. What are we paying our taxes for the jail should be no different and if this man is not having the same connivences as other prisioner then he shouldnt be there a bracetlet or house arrest is sufficiant.
OR MAYBE THEIS IS POLITICAL

I belive this matter should be checked in to by the way it sounds. we have no right policemen, judges,to have the call of indecent treatment if this is going on all should be accountable for it

How do you put an ankle bracelet on someone with no ankles? Do you put it around there neck like a dog collar?

And for goodness sake, if you are going to post something, SPELL CHECK. It is hard to make a valid point and be taken seriously if you can not spell or use proper grammar!

I was wondering the same thing. Treat all prisoners the same, I wonder if his past drug use led to his current health issues. I hope my tax dollars are not going for his medical issues.

Of course your tax dollars are paying his medical expenses. They have been for a long time whether he's in jail or sitting at home. He probably gets better care in jail. All medications paid for and has a nurse at his disposal during the day I would assume. Didn't have that at home I bet.

Ought to hold the public schools in contempt of teaching basic spelling and sentence structure. Whew, whey ? Prier Brier ? Sidney City School or a county school ? Typo School of Grammer and Composition.....

Just read the article in the Sidney Daily News. For crying out loud, it is jail, not the Ritz Carlton. My tax dollars shouldn't be wasted on feeding someone, IN JAIL, a flipping five course meal. If the family of Trapp, or Trapp himself does not like the food, then THEY should foot the bill and buy him some food at the commisary. I don't even want to get started on how much we are paying for his medical bills. Outrageous! There are so many people in this world struggling to pay their own medical bills, struggling to put food on their table. Sure, innocent until proven guilty, I get that, but when your butt ends up in jail for putting a bullet in your brothers head, well, I am thinking you must have done something to warrant being charged with the crime! And maybe his health is going down hill from guilt eating him up, or the stress of finally getting 'caught'...

Many schools are being forced to teach content rather than rote memorization, such as spelling and grammar. It is unfortunate but if parents stepped up and made their kids learn something at home, it may not be completely lost. By the way, it is grammar, not grammer.

As far as the inmate....get over it people. Don't land yourself in jail and you won't have to worry about not having rainbows and sugar cookies!

Stand corrected: grammar. Parental involvement does make a distinct difference in a child's development and academic interest. I worked with my kids, sans grammar, and they developed a hunger to learn and understand what they were exposed to. Grammar withstanding.

maybe his condition is from the stress of his guilt, who knows, but in this town, your guilty even if you prove your not, as long as they put you on the front page of the newspaper, thats all people will remember, because when you prove your not guilty, they put it in the middle of the paper, in small print, and a very short story, and most people will never read it !
Thanks SDN ..........

Call that selective justice ? But not common sense. Right now his sentense, for what it's worth, is battling diabetes. Which in alot of cases is a slow, insidious death sentense. The costs to house and treat him while in custody can be prohibitive.
May be prudent just to let him out, although another government agency will probably pick up the tab for treatment if he's indigent. It's a no-win situation and the taxpayer is on the hook, either way.

I agree. I haven't talked to him for a while, but his common sense approach to law enforcement as well as his vast experience give the department much needed credibility.
Trapp has a low probability of committing another crime in the condition he's in and a social worker / nurse may be all that's needed to loosely monitor him. Whether guilty or not. And obviously he's disabled, prohibiting him from possessing a weapon. If he's a flight risk, good-bye and good riddance to suffer and die somewhere else.
The drama of any criminal behavior is counter-productive to any community and financially draining. Spoiled children living under a parent's roof is tolerable at best. Spoiled Adults not so much.
Chances are there was some sort of shady going's on with each character involved.
Hadn't seen you for awhile. Good holidays ?
