Heroin use has definitely become a serious epidemic over the past few years. I know people I went to school with who were football stars, cheerleaders, prom queens, even extremely intelligent people with plans of college and a promising future, who are now all hooked on heroin. I really want to know what is going on?! When I was in school, the big thing was Ecstacy which was considered bad. Now its heroin and shooting a needle in your arm. Man, what is this world coming to? We need to put a stop to this.

Shoot your local drug dealer today!

I've even read that people shoot alcohol. Grain, I'd hope. Or at least vodka.

You're speaking lightly of something you haven't delved in to. Dentist, do you ever use nitrous? Well that's easy to forget about.

Good point. I don't know what he's talking about anyway. I've been looking for it for 8 months. Can't find it and i can find anything else. I would says it's not that readily available.

You're not looking that hard then if you really live in PA. Baltimore is the heroin capitol of the US, and it's very close by.

Guys he's right, im only in high school, and while i my self would never do anything like that there are alot of people, relatively speaking, that do that kinda stuff, pot, coke, everything, it really is out of control that people before they ever graduate high school are going to be hooked on this stuff. All its going to do is ruin the future for many young teens

Heroin becomes a problem because the homeless, depraved, and unambitious scrounge the money from the rest of society to support a habit they really cannot afford.

There are also tons of hard-working, lively individuals who enjoy or use their drugs (for whatever purpose) responsibly. People whom you probably even know but will never confide in you such a thing because of the stigma attached.

This is not a problem that will "go away," prohibition taught us that. Despite this, the government seems content to continue arresting everybody it can in this futile "war on drugs" often resulting in the ruining of lives and families. All from a simple social stigma. Of course when they're arrested the only option is to claim they were addicted, and to claim a new life path, because honesty will surely land you a worse sentence.

Incidentally, drugs do not stop people from graduating school. Just like prostitutes don't stop people from getting married.

camden is still out of control. it's the wild west down there. you can just walk down broadway from bust terminal to cooper and hear callout of, dope, footbals, xanies, bars, stamps, percs, rock. and this is a commercial street with storess on both sides. dip off into ally aand make deal. it's crazy. and those are mostly the rips who burns the white kids from the burbs who ride the train into that part of town looking for something. you can definately score, but get ripped just as easily.
i used to buy crack from a store in camden where you would walk in and a dealer would follow. in plain sight of the workers the eal would take place. then you were out. there are more sets in camden than you could imagine. almost every corner has it's specialty. just stay away from the sherm or the wet, pcp corners. those mf'ers are crazy, running around naked in december. the cops don't even want to deal with them.
that is why i'll pay my $4 bridge toll to go to south philly and do a cell phone deal. call them and withing 10-15 mins they pullup with what you want. usuually 10-15, there were the 60 mins days. seemed like when you were sick. you'd call them every 15 and they say they were turning the corner and hang up. great what corner, the one 25 miles away.
glad i don't live that life anymore.

Druggies are losers who deserve to die in the street. They usually make life miserable for everyone around them. I say we close all the treatment facilities and ban AA and NA, then let the laws of nature refine society. Those who too stupid to figure it out can become fertilizer. Lets face it folks-if your using drugs, you obviously have difficulty navigating life and should get out of the way of normal people who don't need to get high to enjoy life.

Okay, Jimpson weed is natural too but that one will kill you with it's poison. Grow up, God didn't say put it in a joint and smoke it.
