If the stuff is stolen then heres my question how come there would be a shooting right where the stuff is? Also wouldnt you think that they people would have been more smarter than that.

Yes, they should have been more smarter... If they were smarter they wouldn't have stole in the first place so gunshots on the property just go to show the brains that go into taking someones property; none.

I'm bettin' that they will find some meth on the property also. Tweakers like to collect alot of stuff in there spare time...and they usually have alot of spare time since they don't sleep!

No, the people behind this probably have a collective IQ of -6.

Gross, its like that show "Hoarders" on A&E with a felonious twist. I just hope that poor kid gets proper therapy and makes it out of this mess as a functioning member of society.

Somewhat unrelated - there is a stolen property list, on which you can report a stolen computer, stolen car, etc..

It is http://www.stolen-property.com/

You can search and report stolen property for free.

So far only Channel 9 has come close to good coverage of this story. The other two stations should take some lessons from their reporters. This is Clay County, not Cass. Items have not been proven stolen yet. It could be a Hatfield and McCoy story. Someone wanted to get back at someone and found a way to do it. Way too much loose gunpowder is floating around in this town. A warning signal right there. The little girl is the only really important one in this story and how sad it had to come to a shooting to find some help for her. People really were not concerned about her to begin with, they were more worried about a dog and a goat having a problem. Sounds like a lot of problems in this town. Maybe theft of items is the least of their worries. It was just the tip of the iceberg. Bringing attention to some things that have been long overlooked.

Please, please, PLEASE, before you criticize someone's IQ or brain function, take an english lesson. It's just smarter. You don't put "more" in front of a word you've already added the "er" to. On a side note, I know these people. I live right down the street, and it wasn't a surprise at all for them to fire a weapon at anything. ALSO, if the stuff ISN'T stolen, then why do several cars show up as being reported stolen? Who needs 40 freaking chainsaws?! Why have light farm equipment when you don't own a farm? Why would you have washers and dryers still in crates? Maybe, instead of asking about the gunshot, you should ask yourself about the property. To the guy that practically denounced the entire population of Missouri City... I know it's easy to make pot-shots at a town this small, but we don't go around getting people's children taken away for no reason. These people kept to themselves outside of their crazy midnight operations and the isolated incident with him shooting at my dog. Why did we call the cops? He fired his weapon toward my house. Had my children been outside, one could have been struck. The fact that they stumbled on all that property being stolen is NOT a representation of our city. These alleged criminals are not a representation of our town. Yes, I said alleged, because they are in fact innocent until proven guilty. Let's do everyone a favor and stick to the story instead of making fun of the town I live in.

I live in the Northland off Brighton. There are increasing complaints around here of burglary. Last week while I was up at 10 or 11, after the kids were in bed. A car was parked in my drive. I quick like grabbed a flashlight and went out the front door. Before I could reach the car. He or she sped off. There were two people in the car. I flashed the light at the license plate. My vision is not great at night so I was not able to get the numbers from the plates. I called the police they thanked me for the info. They of course informed me that unless something happened. They would be unable to file a report. My neighbor moved from here because someone attempted to break in her home, she lived alone.
What I am getting at here people is we must get involved. We must keep are eyes opened to suspicious activity. We also must form an alliance and watch our neighbors property, when they are away. If we are to be safe, we need to get involved. That is the single most effective way to decrease crime in our community.

I am betting the property owners names are Billy Garrison - a convicted felon and I believe they said the woman's name is Jan. Two to one, if they look hard enough they will find drugs on the property as well. It's about time someone stood up and took notice to what this dirt bag has been doing. Hopefully the little girl has not been harmed in any way, shape, or form.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
