My family is from your town and I need visit in order to do more research. I was told that my family has a family cemetary. Would it be difficult to find my way around? and is there a lot of historical things left over from the slavery days?

Are there any relatives of the Hoys, Ballard, Hibbler families still living in Shuqualak. How about Goodwins, or Clemmons - I believe they are also relative to the Hoys. I paid a visit to Shuqualak about three years ago, and I was not able to find anyone. Also, if we wanted to have a family reunion there, is there a park we could use or anykind of rental facility?
