The owner of a Fairbanks air carrier is accused of trying to take alcohol into dry villages.

See. It's not always "natives" taking alcohol into villages. It's "all walkes of peoples" that do it as well. Business men/woman, professionals, guides,..., look at all peoples the same. Don't just keep your eye on the natives.

Alcohol is and alway's a problem, Anchorage/Fairbanks and the smaller Communitees need to form a coalition and have the Alcohol-tobacco-firearms (ATF)along w/ the other law enforcement's scrutinize and crack down these boot-legger's that are becoming a major problem out here, although most felon's use their Family,relative's, or partner's to order for them for a bottle or two, and mebbe a percentage or two, also ruining it for the person who drinks fairly moderately, How do they sleep at night anyway's? without a conscience of all the problems that arise from alcoholism?

I am an alcohol/drug abuse counselor and Jewish police Chaplain in Austin, Texas. I grew up in Anchorage and am aware of the terrible problem of alcoholism in the villages. My approach to dealing with addicts starts, always, with famiy and Alaska, entire villages. I believe I have a unique value system and way of confronting addiction. I'd sure like to help, and I believe I can. I have nothing to sell. I simply hate to see families and communities being killed by addiction and here in the lower '48' we never think about alcohol as being a problem than can consume an entire town. Ideas ?
