You spend the past week posting hurtful, mean-spirited bile to the friends and family of an unfortunate young man, and you wonder why people would be upset with you? Have you shared your on-line posts with your husband/wife/children, and do you think they would be proud of you? I doubt either thought has penetrated your simian brain.
There was nothing unfortunate about this situation. Unfortunate is driving down a road and a tree falls and kills you. This fool was driving on a suspended license and got killed. Had he had any respect for the law, he would be alive today. That is not unfortunate, that is stupid. If you cannot handle the truth, life is going to be rough for you.

Would you have felt the same way if he still had his license, or would you play the "he must have been speeding" card in an effort to support your argument?

In that case, we would have to wait and see what the results of the police investigation was. If he was at fault so be it. If the other guy was at fault then they would have had my sympathies. The facts of this case say he was driving with a suspended license and therefore deservfes no pity.

I see you have raised your discourse to a 9th grade reading level, and are actually being civil. Applause to you for that. If you truly cannot see why someone who died in an accident, their fault or not, deserves sympathy or pity, then you are duller than I originally thought.

As i look back on these comments, it saddens me that a 16 year old boy just passed, and yet, people still continue to say negative things about him? Leon was my best guy friend, and to sit here and read the stuff some people said about him, tore me to pieces. Leon was the brightest, most happiest boy I've ever met. He always knew how to make people smile. he always had me smiling. I'd see him coming my way, and i was in the best mood. We'd have the best conversations. And he would always walk me to the cafeteria to get a chocolate muffin and chocolate milk. he did whatever he could for whoever he could. whether he messed up, or not. he's gone. and nothing is going to bring him back. so instead of complaining about licenses and age and ability to control the bike, and the pace that he was going, why can't you ignorant people just let him rest in peace. Leon, no matter what any of these jerks said about you, i love you and i don't blame you for anything. i miss you beyond explanation, and I'd do anything to see your handsome face just one more time. you were, are, and always will be my rock. i think about you every single day. you didn't deserve this, but it happened for a reason. but, I'll never forgive god for taking my best friend away from me. i love you forever and always. you'll NEVER be forgotten. i can promise you that. rest in peace baby boy. <3
love,
Megan Hodges. <3
