And, the supervisor who is attending other municpalities does not have long time Shrewsbury Township roots. Is he or she leave Shrewsbury township & have us pay the bill for unneeded police protection?

as for long time Shrewsbury Township ROOTS the writer of the letter to the editor cannot make a claim to that truth. Mr. Schuckman should be careful about statements like friend of a friend. That is how he choose what rules to enforce while pretendng to be working for the township. If you are his friend or a friend of a friend the regulations would be read one way and if you were someone he didn't like they were read another way. This is standard operating procedure for Mr. Schuckman. But the one thing he did well was protect himself from dirty hands. Always had someone else doing his dirty work for him.But those who know him are now seeing how twisted his standards are. Watch it folks sounds like he is getting ready to run for office again. Do not make that mistake again. Keep him gone from Shrewwsbury Township building

by my name you should be able to figure out where I am from and why I have been watching what is going on in this township. Knew it was only time until the real Earl reared his ugly head. If you are his friend stick around long enough and you will know personally what I am talking about. If you search deep in your heart and your mind and take the blinders off you will know I speak the truth.

Here my post from the comments on the article
" Police not need in Shrewsbury TWP"

If you only knew, think about what gets rob around here the banks in the twp, and walmart one bank got hit twice in one week. Where are all the problems there in the twp not in the bourghs.

PLEASE you got lucky with a quick response from PSP I heard of them taking hours to responed, in fact I have heard PSP has asked South PD respone to the call due to them not being able to get there.

Yes this area was rural but it has done alot of growning up over the years and we need to stop being stuck in the past. I all for South PD taking over Shrewsbury TWP and have more cops in the local area. We might even get better speed enforcment I bet one cop could make his weeks pay check by just running a speed trap on Mt Airy from all you lead foots go to and from Walmart. The last time I saw PSP stop someone he clocked them doing over 50mph and failure to yeild at the traffic circle.

Mr Solomon one question if we are so rural then why did we need a TWP manger?

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. Local PD along with PSP caught the POS and how were they caught by having local PD in the area to responed quickly get information out there.

I stand corrected the same bank was hit twice just over a month apart not a week as I stated before
Is this the right reason

Mr. Schuckman would this count as a right reason:

Yea YDR, please do us ALL a favor and lay off reporting ANYTHING about that Shrewsbury DUMPY AREA! Sick of hearing about that area leeching off we taxpayers by SOME not having their OWN police department. At least THAT AREA attracts most of the Ba'more greaseball scumballs, thereby taking the pressure off other lovely York County communities!

For all of you that think I'm SPAM, CLUELESS, and NUTS why my school tax is over $2,000 and my property tax is just under $700 a year. In 2010 school taxes went up about 65 buck and property stayed the same. I say if you have kids in school you should pay more in school taxes and those who don't should pay alot less.

Cut the school tax and give the extra to the TWP and get a local police force.
Please

Just remember that when someone breaks into you house and you call 911 which then transfer you to the state police dispatcher.(BTW york co 911 does not dispatch PSP) The one thing you don't know is that the closest trooper is all the way out in peach bottom twp and he'll be there as soon as he can.

Maybe he wants to make sure the TWP does get a local PD so his crime spree and free shopping at walmart will continue

How can they "cuff" anyone when there's no police?

We pay state taxes therefore we are entitled to have state police protection.

This is not the first threat you've made against these people - maybe you should put up or shut up. If you slow down your NJ mentality you may be able to spell things & word things correctly.
Save all of us the aggravation of the election, make it happen now, make it rain rainmaker.
