How do they determine the birth date for a building?
The day it is thought of? That would be like seeing some girl walking down the street and deciding later in life you're going to have babies with her and considering that as their birth date.

The date of the groundbreaking? That would be like picking the conception date as a person's birthday, so that wouldn't work either.

The day the construction actually start? Some of the material wouldn't even be on the job site them, so that wouldn't work

The day the final piece of material is installed? That might work but what about when the repair the deficiencies that happened during construction, would that change the date?

The day COO is issued? That might work on more modern buildings, but before we had all this government interference in our lives, we didn't have to jump through all these hoops and the were no COO's. So that wouldn't work either.

The day the building is dedicated? That would be iffy also since lots of buildings are already occupied before their dedication.

How about when the mortgage is paid off? Since some places get sold before they're ever paid off, that couldn't work either.

I guess building just don't have birth dates, just like Mickey Mouse doesn't since he isn't real, but yet Disney seems to shove it down our throats so they can sell us more Mickey birthday crap.

This will give you something to ponder next time you're on the john
