"Bishop Fisher said that members of American society, especially those in New England, are too concerned with secularism and he urged members of the Episcopal faith to go out and talk about the Gospels, God, and the words of the prophets.

"He said the Episcopal community should become deeply involved in the social justice agenda and should work on such issues as global warming and curbing gun violence ..."

Just talk about the Gospels, but work on global warming?

Possibly if he made the gospel of Jesus Christ the core, TEC might actually attract people instead of drive them away.
