My folks bought in Show Low Pines I in 1962 for about $800 for a lot. The area sucks!! It is one big lava field, virtually no vegetation. It is as close to a scam as I can describe. The sign to show low pines (10miles east of town) is a pitiful hand painted mess. Save your money or buy my lot cheap!!

Show Low Pines is minutes from Show Low. I have electric within 100 feet of my lot. I bought in about two years ago and am glad that I did. Some of the trees are thirty feet tall. Some of the ground is sandy, rocky, and grass. You can see a little pond nearby. There is a quaint homestyle mini-mart out of a converted house. It is clean and cute. The air is pure and the people are pleasant. No one had a sign with a lot for sale last time I was up. Some new cabins were going up.
Rosie,
I just bought a lot site unseen. It is Section 1 lot 37 but I can't locate it. Any suggestions?

BEWARE!!! of county zoning restrictions! Navajo county is a mess, with spot zoning everywhere. in many areas land has been divided into sections to small to put up a dwelling (can be as large as 18 acres!) what im saying is that its very possible to purchase up to 18 acres and the county (Navajo) will tell you your land is completely useless (because it is too small) only LONG after you have purchased your property or when you apply for a building permit. Navajo county has zoning restrictions that prevent any residential dwelling under 20 acre parcels! however has allowed a high number of properties to be split and sold in these zoning ares down to as little as one acre. the county will very rarely inform land owners of the zoning to those who wish to split and sell their property and will NOT inform you before a purchase. Show low pines is split between Navajo and Apache county, from what I hear Apache county has their stuff together to prevent such fraud. some of the Realtors and county officials in this area appear to be a tight bunch so please BUYER BEWARE!!! According to state legislature it is a criminal misdemeanor for a county recorder to file a split in such areas without due process and written approval by the board of supervisors. so if this has already happened to you the law is on your side (god bless the state of AZ) I have letters of property owners in the area who have called the county in regards to their zoned land and were simple informed of a zoning code ie. RU20 with no explanation. The only true way to find the zoning in your area is penciled in on maps located within county buildings (which I have not been personally allowed to see). Then access the county web site for explanations to the codes. On a more positive note Navajo county has recently shown an indication of consciousness to this problem and may begin working out the issues.

Can anyone tell me about Show Low Pines please.
Showlow Pines is a ways out of town, but growing rapidly. Power is available and water can be purchased or your own well installed (15K).
Not a bad place and the Sherrif has pretty much conquered the meth problems out there.

John McCain’s Economic plan is beyond liberal culture aspirations.

1. RETHINK: America must rethink the global views on what America is capable of in the current state of technology, engineering and the demands on such environments.

2. REFORM: America must rise to demands of a global economy, the need for higher quality and less restricted trade routes for Made in USA components that will exceed the current standards of currently produced items. The era of being able to purchase products that are currently Made by Slave and Child labor is done!

3. REINVENT: America and Americans must reinvent themselves to reach and maintain these standards and by sheer American ingenuity, control the world’s marketplace in the competitive manner as we have always been proud to rule.

McCain solution:

1. By creating a group of retrained and skilled individuals with the knowledge of what any manufacturing employer must know coupled with the requirements of the employee, the USA will have a base of ready made and willing manufacturing firms.

2. USA made products with the obvious USA based jobs create a whole new infrastructure for additional USA companies, from Asphalt to Zoos. Manufacturing companies need outside support and America needs jobs.

3. Fill the empty buildings across America. Let the building owners write off the loss in taxes! More revenue will come from the new jobs and investment profits. Products designed and made by Americans from Asphalt products to Zoo products all built of a better quality than slave labor China, Cambodia, India, Pakistan and the like.

4. Investors will once again invest into MADE IN USA products and companies and we will thrive on McCain’s Economic plan.

Investors will invest in America and not crude oil or mortgage papers.
