Next time you folks are dumb enough to stand in line for hours on end in heat over 100 degrees why not do something to help your community at the same time. The other end of town had desperate people old and young waiting in line for meals from the food bank to feed their families. Why don't each of you organize collecting non perishables and taking them to your foodbank. You should all be ashamed of your thoughtlessness in this day and time. Shame on you.

Why can't we use our money to help people who really needs help? Please help our children and youth and stop helping all these many companys to get richier. Before the year out it probably will be another phone out that thousaands will stand in line for. But can't we help those in need and stop helping our greed?

The ones that already aren't will be DUMB as a box of rocks shortly. They can't live with out their IPods, computers, cell phones and all the other electronic devices. I play with a computer a bit but I still can function without and rarely use any other electronics . I think this was all the beginning of our country's demise.

You are right Abby.
Imagine all these people having no restaurants to eat in. There would be no FAST FOOD. They would have to come up with there own food and make do like most of America back in the 1930ís like some of our Parents and Grandparents had to do. Do we think everyone could learn how to survive living off of the land?

Once again ABBY you have nailed it. It's amazing how dependent society has become on their 'GADGETS" Was funny to see a lady standing outside her car, keys in hand and wondering how she was going to get the door open because the battery had died in her door opener. DUH, try using the key . Along with this convenience comes the death of common sense.

I did not get the phone, but I am very sure you waste money on items that you do not need also.

I only wait in line for two things: group sex and falafel.

What can I say--I love chickpeas.

Do you all realize how crotchety and out of touch you sound, or are you oblivious to that as well? It's just a hot new phone, people really want to buy it. Shocking, isn't it? Is that so hard to wrap your heads around? Some of the twisted logic in here just scares me.

The best part is that if you don't hold it just right, it will drop your call.

Apple must have taken lessons from Glock. Same thing used to happen if you held it "gangster style", instant jam.

Fools and their money......are laughed at every day!

I don't care about sounding like an old bitty. It's a rarity you would EVER see me wait in a line for anything - in particular an electronic device. Sure, we're all entitled to our opinions. If you've got the time and money, get your dang phone. However, I'll slamdam guarantee half the bafoons hanging out to get a phone are the same ones who can't secure a job, have homes that are underwater, live way, way beyond their means and have credit card debt that cannot be secured. Yes, it peaves me because I've worked hard, lived within my means, retired, travel, own a home and car and have no debt. It takes hard work and good judgment. Shazam, call me out of touch, but I'll bet I'm far better off than you and most others because I don't feel the need to keep up with the Joneses.
