I just want to say that I was in the parking lot today where this happened. The officer had asked the man putting groceries into my car to get the manager. I observed the officer as he stood by the car, all the time with his radio in communication with someone. I could tell something was wrong as I could see the concern on his face,he kept close to the car the whole time. I was very impressed with his care for this child, although I did not know what was happening at the time. He is an asset to his department. We pulled out as we saw the women take the child out of the car and could not believe that this had happened. How many times do people have to see horror stories about this to get them to stop. I hope they throw the book at her.

I can hear her now..."I was only going to be in there for a minute...I lost track of time..." Blah, blah, blah. There is no excuse. None. Zero.

If you have enough money to shop at Martin's, you have enough money for a babysitter. Some people have no sense.

That is disgusting...You constantly hear so many stories of children and pets dying because they were left in a hot car. Where was this woman's common sense? What on earth was she thinking? I hope she learned her lesson. Kudos to the person that noticed the baby.

It is amazing at how bad people treat kids, especially their own family! They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.And this is a crime that is not class exclusive. This happened in a so called "nice" part of town with a higher income family. As a parent I can't even imagine treating my kids that way. Its just awful.

Yeap I agree!!!

90 percent of the time less fortunate people choose to be that way and wait for their 1 in a million chance to sue. Then when given the chance, you are toast.

Kids now wear safety helmets to ride a bike??? Well this is what we get.

Shes well connected, another teabagger gets slapped on the knuckles, the charges reduced down to a misdemeanor. Go figure.

Even upscale areas are losing their sense of responsibility. The shoes have come to the teabaggers door steps.
Where are the nasty teabagger comments now!!!!!!!!!!

That would be the new breed of teabaggers; too busy cussing out the government and not enough time rearing their childrens children.

Don't know why you would call me that, but, whatever. I was just trying to give an officer some credit for doing a good job and to give my say on somebody being stupid. Maybe you just don't think anyone can be nice, but that is really your problem.
