It looks like Gail, Stravos and Mongo are up to no good again. Having one of their volunteers put up signs illegally in public right away and on private property without permission. Just can't seem to follow the law can you.

EVERY politician does that. If that's the worst thing any of 'em do I think that's a good sign.

Maybe all the signs around town from everybody should come down. As many are in the right of ways. Oh that is legal by the way.

Every politician doesn't do it. Only Mongo. It is clearly outlined in the Village's sign application its against the law plain and simple. And this isn't the first time Mongo and crew have had a problem following the law. They currently have a violation before the state for breaking campaign fiance laws.

Mongo just seems to think the laws don't apply to him. This is a really dangerous mentality.

All the other signs are perfectly legal for all the other candidates. Mongo and Gail are the only ones having people put them out illegally, but that's no surprise Gail didn't seem to want to follow the rules before either.

Mongo will lose - I could not agree with you more!! If I was John, I would allow Mongo to speak publicly as much as he wants. World Class football player but not someone you want making decisions for you at all...I just hope the people realize that.

And with regards to the signs, technically everyone who has one up is in violation of the village ordinance that says that they can't be put up until 60 days before the election so if they are in the right place or not is sort of besides the point.

Just wanted to let you know that the State of Illinois changed the law that signs can go up anytime. State law supersedes all local ordinances. However placement in public right away is still illegal. Locals can also still place limits on the time after the election that they can stay up.

I doubt he can read the law with all the head hits he took during his career as an interior lineman and that stellar one as a wrestler. Is he not part of the lawsuit filed by former players citing brain damage from he career? "Rules are for you little people to follow , do not trouble the king with your mundane little issues. I am Dumbo I mean I am Mongo pawn in game of life"

Cryin about signs already? Seems like you people are fearful of Michael possibly being in mayors office.

I can tell you it would be a change for the better.

Sounds like someone doesn't like following the rules. Better? Wow a guy that wants to bring more strip clubs to town. What's the matter did your girlfriend lose her job stripping. The only one afraid is the guy putting up the illegal signs.

Who would expect anything less from Noak and his crony supporters. They even started this whole thread out accusing and saying McMichael put the signs there himself when more than likely a supporter did. But who is to even say that any supporter that did place the signs was a McMichael supporter.

Very well could have been a Noak supporter trying to dirty things up. Which is an even money bet!

Who gives a crap about signs. Signs dont win elections, votes do. You want your choice to win, get off your ham hocks and go vote!
