I actually don't care. On public property is ... meh. As long as they are not actually spying, in other words observing people in their private property and residences, it can be a very useful tool. Not only does it help prosecute actual criminals, it helps ensure that the cops have to be on their best behavior as well. I wish there was more in the budget for more of these cameras in Seattle as a whole. Reminds me of the case when a guy got beat up by a bunch of loiterers for trying to return what he thought was a lost purse. The video evidence exonerated him and helped persecute the attackers.
