So Mr. Maniscalco.......the current power plants should NOT be updated and should continue to be operated using 1950s technology? How is updating these plants, even if they still burn fossil fuels NOT an investment in reducing our reliance on foreign oil and helping the environment?

Dismissing usage of fossil fuels out of hand, especially in the absense of a real alternative, if a reckless, extremist point of view. Not to mention ignorant.
