Wonder how many peoples rights he violated and how many times he harassed a law abiding citizen for no reason. Wonder how much he overstepped his boundaries or how many times he stood by and watched as his fellow peace officers "sarcasm " violated rights. I'm sorry but I know all too well the demeanor of most men in power and I simply do not feel for these incidents. Mindless violence is never right from cop or criminal alone, hut how can some of us care when the police have swore loyalty to the government and not the people?

I have had my issues with bad cops. However murdering a cop by ambush is the most despicable and cowardly attack. He was one of the good guys. Even bad cops dont deserve a cowardly demise. How dare you attack him. He has many friends in the community that could reading this. Why dont you just let him Rest in Peace.

Boone deserves to be shot unarmed or in the back by a cop either. You have but to Google police brutality . Citizens should not fear law. |

So what should he have done FYI? Challenge him to a duel? Guerilla tactics are used by every one. Let me clarify my stance for all the piggies...murder is wrong!

You said it right there in your own statement "most men in power". He didn't fall into this category you place him in. I had no faith in the police force in this town until I met him. I experienced a horrible crime and when Off. Ellis was called, he was very respectable and gave me the knowledge and comfort that I needed to get thru my ordeal. He may not have been perfect in everything he did, but I have yet to meet anyone who is perfect. I do the wrong thing at work at least 3 or 4 times a day, but the good that I do overshadows that. I would hate to think that when my time on Earth is over, people like yourself will judge me because of what others of my trade do wrong. RIP Officer Ellis... |

Revenge
Could this have been an act of revenge? Funny how that works. If it was revenge, I would say it's law enforcements move now. We will all be suspects before revenge is served. Get ready. |

You're an idiot or likely involved. Sure there are bad cops, but not all cops are bad. My dad was a deputy for years and I was terrified he'd not make it home some nights. This is a nightmare for his children, they deserved much more time with him and for him to pass naturally not in the hands of a coward! We should care because this was a son, husband, father, friend, coach, some one loved him, confided in him, depended on him.... This was a murder of a human! No one deserves to be hunted down because of where they work or any other reason. its never justified. Shame on you and your anti government views clouding your vision from seeing this is a man first and foremost. Imagine how his children and wife are feeling? His mother for Gods sake? |

There's a time and place for trolling, but this definitely isn't it. In my opinion, they dont get paid enough for what they do,and many have paid the ultimate price. You may not feel for what happened to this cop going home to his family, but MANY do. |

Listen up fellow citizens, FYI and mannn are your future type people. Don't try to voice an opinion or they will try to make statements like mannn's latest, attempting to accuse someone of being involved for voicing concerns and opinions. Same tactics the DHS uses. Everyone's a terrorist aren't they mannn. Are you accusing me of being involved mannn? But I can't be mad at you, your just a brainwashed piggy and like the saying goes "piggy is as a piggy does. "

Not only are you politically incorrect your grammar skills are horrible. Your is the possessive form of you and does not mean you are (you're). And because normal people respect our peace officers doesn't make them piggies. But I'm guessing you're a little older white man / hippyish thinking the government controls people. Live your life, you are being controlled by your paranoia! A product of a little too much weed or acid from Vietnam times? I would suspect and understand then! Get over yourself. |

That's nice of you to say. I apologize if your experience with him was a bad one. But this community is suffering over this incident and this single event should not just be grouped in with all the bad things that powerful people do because he was a cop. |

your right I'm being judgemental. I am sorry. I've not had a run in with the police in over 12 yrs, so I don't know who he is. Last time I was pulled over was around 12 yrs ago and it was a bogus stop where when I defended myself I was threatened and berated by the supposed "hero "police for no reason. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. |
