http://nacla.org/blog/2013/2/15/economic-grow... So it turns out Socialism, as Evo Morales sees it (which includes nationalizing Land, Water, Electric, Oil, and Gas companies) actually increases the economic growth for their nation. So... maybe vot'n for those who give us the most stuff, will actually help save Capitalism, which figures. Ralph Nader fought Ford and GM to put safety features in their cars, and now the car companies brag about their safety features as selling points... Socialism... respecting human rights... doesn't hurt business and capitalism... it helps it.

Yup, American car companies are a great example of socialism. They are government owned and financed. They are in a downward spiral that in the past few years has seen Toyota become the largest automobile producer.
The best way to respect human rights is to give freedom to the people so that they may do as they wish. Let them pursue their dreams, not provide for them. When you let big brother support and take care of you, you lose independence.
Socialism sounds good to those low information folks that don't want to take charge of their lives. Equality of outcome is not achievable, it only bring down others to a lower standard.
Where has equality of outcome has been achieved without everyone being at the poverty level?
#3 Feb 17, 2013
Why has there been perpetual poverty in Ky since the beginning? I dont want equal outcomes, just equal opportunity, equal access... why should some get good schools, and others not? That's not right. That's academic genocide.

"Where has equality of outcome has been achieved without everyone being at the poverty level?"
Bolivia. That's your answer. If Socialism helps Capitalism, why would u be against it? Just cuz u a hata? W. Bush used Socialism to save Big Banks... how come yall ready to throw our bodies on the machine to save Big Banks, but We the People... where's our bailout? If that money would have went straight to the people, instead of the Big Banks, it would have worked out better for everybody. Also... Land reform is actually a measure AGAINST Communism, since by giv'n folks land, then they'll have something to fight and die for... but what will they fight and die for now? Some roach infested slum dwell'n they rent' w/ a slum landlord?
Before you get freedom, you have to guarantee life, b/c what's freedom, if you're dead? Life.... then Liberty... then Pursuit of Happiness... not outcomes... just the Freedom/Means to do it.

53% of Bolivians live in poverty.
In response to land ownership, if you give people something they don't take care of it as if they earned it. Look at the west end, projects, community centers and other handouts. You earn something, your more likely to take care of it. Redistribution brings us all down.
I can tell you don't own your own home. I thought Obama was going to fix all that? Hmmm.....
#6 Feb 17, 2013
U teabaggers and Mitt Romney crybabies have been blam'n Obama for the economy ever since he got into office... yall sound insane. Bolivia WAS in poverty, just like Kentucky is, but it's economy is growing... that's if you care about mak'n money, which it doesn't sound like you do. If Socialism helps Capitalism, how come these two haven't been married a long time ago? And Obama's far from a Socialist. Obama did exactly what you Republicans did... gave all our tax dollars to the Big Banks, since of course, those Wall Street fat cats needs that fat paycheck, off our children's backs. Yeah... great decision... how come you Republicans and Democrats believe in Socialism for the Rich Bankers, and none for anybody else? How come you complain about welfare, which is only 1% of the budget, but dont say a word about the Military Industrial Complex? Cuz u dont give a fk? Yeah... that's it. You're rather act like your Bill Gates, and let everybody around you starve and die off, when you're here on the bottom w/ the rest of us.
So in conclusion... go fk yoself.

I figured I would get that response when I provided the facts to you. Bolivia is a poor nation with over 50% living in poverty. Yet you believe their government to be a success.
You are real quick to provide solutions to all problems while not taking care of your own. Perhaps you should do some house cleaning of your own.
Get off the drugs.
Get along with others.
Earn something and feel the pride it brings you.
Give to others.
Respect those you don't agree with. Those you don't agree with are not always wrong.

Socialism is aweful and makes me wanna cringe, maybe people should be greatful for what they got and quit whining, look at the people in India, could be worse. Im not rich, but I love my family and as long as those I love are in my life, greed can take money and shove it!

Jesus was a Socialist. Luke 4:18,
The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lords favor.

nothing in that passage says to me ''free handouts from the barrel of a gun'' learn the difference between charity and socialism first..then try to preach to me...follow christ yourself then try and quote scripture...you mock christ from time to time, your heart is full of hate my brother...destroy yourself, then be baptised and arise with a renewed spirit.
#12 Feb 18, 2013
Destroy myself? WTF? U destroy urself. I know and understand Jesus Christ on a whole 'nother level... the Golden Rule... how so perfectly logical!
Jesus Christ cared about the poor. He GAVE free bread and fish to the multitude, he flipped the tables of the moneychangers in the Temple, since he hates Capitalists, and he said to render to Caesar what is Caesar's... which means... Pay Your Taxes! Jesus Christ hung out w/ the muck of society... the prostitutes, the prisoners, the lepers, the tax collectors, the women and children, AND...
Who do you think "the oppressed" are?
#13 Feb 18, 2013
Bolivia is nationaliz'n everything... Ecuador is nationaliz'n everything...
Huge Chavez sold some oil to Cuba in exchange for Doctors. That's how friendly countries interact... Kentucky trades her meth'd faces into the prison system in order to get lots of folks in prisons... just because.
#14 Feb 18, 2013
christ did not flip a table over because they were capitalist Johnny, he flipped them over because they turned the temple of god into a merchant square that inadevertantly attracted thieves, and swindlers...he was mad because they desecrated the temple with materialism. Like are you serious? Do you honestly think Jesus flipped a table because they were capitalists and he was a socialist? I have hung out with the depravity of society, that doesnt mean im a socialist. Ive given homeless people a nice amount of cash, but im not socialism. You have a shameless foul mouth, you insult people, your hot headed, and you think you know christ? Your a smart guy johnny, dont get stupid on me man.

Jesus Christ was a Socialist. He said to give to the Poor. That's Socialist. He said we need to take care of the Poor. That's Socialism. We have not cured Poverty, in the richest country in the world, and how long has institutionalized Christianity been around. I do know Jesus Christ. More than you... clearly. Poverty has been around since you fake followers of Jesus Christ have been around... it's almost like you use Jesus Christ to oppress others... to steal their wealth... to make sure they stay poor... You know Mother Teresa actually kept the poverty and suffering going in her ministries? Is that how you interpret him? Jesus Christ was a Socialist. He spoke up for the Oppressed... that's what Socialists do. In Venezuela, 92% of the citizens are Roman Catholic, and the rest are Protestants. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venezuela#Religi... Bolivia, another Socialist country, has 78% Roman Catholics, and 19% Protestants. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolivia#Religion 81% of Peru are Catholics, and 12% are Evangelicals... so those Socialist countries are filled to the brim with Christians... seems like they understand Christianity better than over-the-top Capitalist America is. Also, I never insulted anybody who didn't deserve it. You also said that the "merchants" he hated... what do you think a merchant is? It's a businessman, and he didn't want businessmen in the Church. The Church shall remain free of businessmen. Jesus Christ was for Socialist Democracy, just like me. Jesus Christ was a peace and freedom loving hippie, who wanted to feed all of the poor, and take care of the downtrodden and muck of society... that's Socialist. You think charity will take care of the poor? Has it so far? No... the State needs to use it's immense power, for the poor, instead of against them, as has been since 1792, since Ky was formed by white Europeans to "legally" steal the Shawnee's land. Our founders were found by thieving capitalist swine, and so the tradition carries on today.

Here Jesus Christ tells the poor bloke to give up all of his worldly possessions to the poor, and to follow Jesus Christ:
Matthew 19: 16 21
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness.
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love they neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All of these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come follow me.
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Rick Warren says it well:Americas greatest moral failure has been that we still dont abide by that basic precept in Matthew,Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do for me. That basic principle applies to poverty, it applies to racism and sexism, it applies to not providing ladders of opportunity for people to get into the middle class This country, as wealthy and powerful as we are, we still dont spend enough time thinking about the least among us.

Masters just doesn't get it. He looks around him and sees problems instead of looking at himself.
#18 Feb 19, 2013
Go fk yoself beotch.
#19 Feb 19, 2013
Bolivia has 50%+ poverty and Master's wants to duplicate it? He should be Obama's economic adviser.
