The person was asking if they were Mennonites (or Amish) not minorities. I don't think they meant it to be offensive.
If that's what they meant then ok... But if you're going to post things in a public forum where anyone can see and you don't want hateful replies you should make sure your spelling and grammar and verbage are correct because people can not read body language over the internet, nor do they know your level of intellect and you could EASILY look extremely ignorant.

I don't think these statements were meant as blame. I know in my case, I just can't believe there are still ppl who don't buckle their kids. I'm not saying anyone deserved to die. I'm saying you never know WHEN an accident will happen. Anyone reading this post needs to be reminded that seat belts save lives.
The mother of the kids is now out of the hospital. Only the man (whose wedding they'd been at in FL) is still in hospital.
all 4 adults were killed and 2 children. these are my aunt uncle neice and theyre foster children and an elderly lady they cared for. they were rear ended by a careless fed ex driver(i drive truck so i know how they run, almost got killed by one myself last week)and they were all seatbelted. the 2 children that survived are in burn units and icu. one was a foster child and one was their adopted grandson. they still are unaware of the deaths.

The accident the people are referring to up there occurred 2011, look at the date. If you're talking about the one that happened this morning you're on the wrong post. But I'm sorry for your loss and I will keep your family and those little ones in my thoughts.

Mennonite is not foreign. They are a community that has restricted driving rules so they travel, generally in large numbers ! However this was not Mennonites! I totally understood what the first guy was saying.

Have you reread your question? It does sound racist and non-sympathetic...don't ya think? Although neither one of you should be telling each other to go die. Anger is ok, but not critical anger.

if the companies lose enough money in cases like this, they'll be more careful about who they hire to haul. and don't give me that line about how they provide a service of delivering goods to my door. dont' want to hear it. many good drivers out there but then there are these idiots that create havac for everyone on the roads. sad. shame it didn't get the driver, too.

It was an accident a horrible accident, Im sure the truck driver didn't just say well im going to hit this family and kill them all, grow up people! there had to a circumstance that caused this horrible tragedy. Just remember when your on 65 it is a very dangerous road and you should use extra caution and pay close attention to everything! how many lives have we lost on this stretch of highway in the last 5 years? alot!! people are beginning to call it dieway 65. Accidents happen and no one person can be blamed, just in the wrong place at the wrong time! if you wanna look at it this way: the good lord decides when its our time to go, it was theyre time and they are in a better place than we are. God bless the family and our prayers are with you!

it was a bad thing but you seem to know everything smart one could the vehicle have cut in front and slowed down suddenly oh no that never happens everyone is right it was an accident seems like its always blamed first on the truck drivers but sometimes it's someone else's fault to I don't know who's to blame don't care wish it wouldn't have happened but not always truck drivers fault all I'm saying

Truckers get a bad rap the majority of the time. The fact of the matter is everyone is in such a hurry weaving in and out of traffic trying to get ahead of the next person and the trucks cannot stop as quickly as the rest.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
