Does anyone know anything about this company? Are they for real? A scam? Can't seem to find much about them, thanks for any information.

Apparently they are a market and sales firm disguised as a consulting firm. They want to tell you very little about the job on the phone in hopes that they will sucker you in in person. I am so tired of these companies acting like business professionals and its door to door an phone sales.

It is door to door sales. The client gives M & K a leads list of customers or former customers. In order to be promoted to account mgr, you have to have a certain number of applications in a week and be "on bell" 4 days out of the week. BUT if you do not complete training, you will not get paid, except for "in house" commission which will be around $60 before taxes.

I've gotten three different calls from them over the course of two years. Every time they called, they offered me either a sales manager position or the account manager position. They wouldnt tell me any details either, until i finally called back and told them they sounded fake. Its a commission only job. I've had one. Never take it. You will always get screwed over in the end. If the company truly wants you to work for them they will at least offer minimum wage plus commission. Good luck!

It looks like all these comments are from people who only went on an interview and never actually worked there.

Just look at their website, they even say they are a 'full service marketing and sales company'. How is that being 'disguised'?

I have a friend who works there. The company is legit and not a scam. It's mainly for people who are wanting to be entrepreneurs not employees. Most people want to clock in and clock out which leads to them living paycheck to paycheck. M&K provides a management opportunity that gives hands on experience in managing an office in the future.

I work for this company and have been employed here for over a year. I am very close to getting promoted to an assistant manager position and I love what I do. I am able to teach others, train and interview for this company, as well as meet with current clients to help them out with their telecommunication needs. This job is not a scam but I have come to the conclusion that not a lot of people want to work hard and have nothing better to do with their time then talk bad about other companies.
"This company is aggressively interview but not aggressively hiring." If you didn't get the job it's okay just don't waste your time writing bad reviews.

When you look at any company there are downfalls and pluses for every company. It is the only company that allows you to work for what you get. It is about pushing yourself past the other person to promote yourself further. Everyone starts at the bottom but it allows you to go top without kissing butt or knowing certain people to get you further. Yes I work here and I know the system works. Look me up in a couple of years and see where I'm at compared to you.

Hey, I do door-to-door sales, and I love my job. I don't know for sure whether this M&K is the same, but I get to meet new people every day, I get out in the fresh air and get exercise every day as well. My job being commission-based is awesome because I'm not limited to some hourly wage; I make as much as I want based on how hard I work and how good I am at my job.

Firstly, "shady" aint the word for M&K, "legit" is more like it. I know a couple of people that work there and actually have their own offices in other states. I was opportuned to intern there for 3 months and I learnt and developed invaluable management skills sets which are currently helping me in my own business now. Some of the things i readily recall about my time there was the team support system (which is awesome) and the positive work atmosphere. I definitely DO NOT regret my time there 'cos it was eye-opening and I will advise anyone seeking to own a business in the near future to check M&K out.

I just had my first interview via phone. As mentioned above, when I asked what exactly I'd be doing, the response was "That is more for your second interview." I found this very strange along with the fact I can't find much about the company on the Internet that's not vague. Can any employee or former emploee of HK explain why they are so secretive of what they do? If not, I have a hard time taking the "employee's" comments above seriously.
