I know the Topix forum isn't the ideal place to post a question requesting information regarding a pain management facility; unfortunately though, I am new to Ky and have no one to ask.

I'm older and retired due to disability with Progssive MS, along with some other chronic painful conditions.
I've been a pain management patient for approximately the past 12 years.

My previous physician in Tennessee provided me with excellent treatment and was very familiar with my disease and other conditions, as well as how they have progressed over the years.

After reading through many of the threads here regarding pain management, I must admit I am a bit concerned. From what I've gathered, getting adequete pain treatment is quite difficult in this area.

I have obtained a referral from my new primary care physician for continued pain management from whichever place I select. The problem is I don't have any idea who I should schedule an appointment with.

I have a sufficient amount of medical records documenting all of my problems. I also have copies of pharmacy reports showing exactly what I've been prescribed for years back if necessary.

Is anyone a patient of the Metro Pain Center who would care to post what I should expect? If not, what place would you recommend?

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever in adhering to strict rules and guidlines. In fact, the place I went to before was extremely strict with their patients. This is why they were able to provide quality treatment to their patients.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Physicians primary care of of dutchmans lane. DuPont square south is the actual street. They are wonderful there. Especially dr Lowe. She truly cares about patients and is super nice. High recommended.
