Luke 4:18:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord."

Here, Jesus Christ is saying that:

1 - The Oppressed should go free.
2 - Blind will see
3 - Prisoners will go free.
4 - I care about the poor.

So there's several policy issues Jesus would stand for, from this major passage in Luke... he's a Socialist, since he's for the poor... he's against the prison industrial complex that KKKentucKKKe has completely constructed herself on.... so Ky isn't Jesus-like in that regard, also... there's not much we can do about the blind, but we can ease their suffering, and put braille up everywhere.... and "The Oppressed" shall go free. The Oppressed! That's Paulo Freire... remember when I was talk'n about Freire a good while back?

Here's a 2nd Manifesto, by ex-cop: http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2013/02/...

-a sampling-

"I also fear living in a society where Innocent people are dying for no reason. A society where pain so great can be afflicted to people who have to desire to live right and treat people right and then be punished for doing right. They say we all look alike. In very few cases this of course is true. But in most cases it is not. I feel a resemblance to Dorner,(See Photos) However several people who have no resemblance to Dorner have been shot due to the fear of what is taking place. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SHOT FOR CRIMES I DID NOT COMMIT!. Neither does anyone else. To preface my story I will say this: Just like former Officer Christopher Dorner I used to smile a lot. I loved everyone. I was voted Friendliest Senior of my Sr. Class in High School. I always believed in the system and never got into any trouble. I loved hard and gave to all I could. After Joining the LAPD in 1989 I quickly found out that the world and society had major flaws. I had flaws as well for ever believing that our system of government was obligated to do the right thing. his is what I believed as a young Officer. Without going into major detail, I need you to first assume that I would not surface 16 years later with lies about a situation that has me with PTSD to this very day. The pain forces me to speak as I have yet to shake the Ill's of my experience as an LAPD Officer. Of course I have moved on physically. But mentally and emotionally I still live with flaws. I can't go into re-living the emotions of what I went through so I will say this. I had my home viciously attacked by a gunman with my family and myself inside the house. No arrests were made and my family and I Received very little support. I had my Civil Rights violated on several occasions. I was falsely arrested at gunpoint by the Sheriffs as an Officer who ID'd himself and was conspired against by both LAPD and the Sheriffs when my Civil case went to Trial. I was falsely accused on more than one occasion and simply placed in a position that the trust was so com..." ~Joe Jones

Back then you were jailed for minor offenses but killed quick for major, like murder, adultry, rape, incest ect ect...MOST prisoners were political, thieves, ect ect...so letting them out and forgiving them wasnt as dangerous as say if we did that today. Because our country bows before special interest groups we cannot kill murderers, child rapists, ect ect quickly, instead they get to appeal infinitely and get treated better than the victims....I like to call this the ''The Beast'' precursor. So I agree with Luke passage, we should forgive all non violent offenses, I mean in reality this pot smoker istnt hurting me, nor is this single mother on crack..ect ect. Debts are also supposed to be forgiven, imagine instead of bailing out the banks if government did what they should have and just paid off the citizens loans, we would be on full blown recovery right now...but there is evil at work in the world, and the good just accepts it as ''the norm'' and pretends everything is ok.

They should have given the big banks money straight to the people whose homes are being foreclosed on. Everybody says this. W. Bush said he used Socialism, buying Big Banks, to save Capitalism. So yeah... we got Socialism... it's just for the rich.

Luke 4:18

1. Preach the gospel to the poor--(poor as in spirit, weak, meek and powerless---not necessarily poor as in class as we are appointed today by our income by a sinful government.)

2. Heal the brokenhearted--Heal their broken spirits--their souls.

3. Proclaim liberty to captives--Those who are captive to SIN.

4. Give sight to the blind--The ones who donot see Jesus and are blind to sin.

5. To set at liberty those who are oppressed--To loose the chains of injustice to ones imprisoned on false charges. This does not mean open up the prisons and let all the prisoners out.

Our Lord Jesus Christ shows no partiality to classes, he loves us all. Even the rich and middle classes have their own tragic lives, illnesses, loneliness, sins, needing forgiveness and help just as the poor does.

Money isn't everything. Just ask the ones who are rich which commit suicides, murder, rapes, theft, etc.

Sounds similiar to the poor class, doesn't it?

Just read the daily news and you will see this.

Yes, it does say in the Bible; "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Meaning, the rich have set up their riches as an idol and GOD is only when they need a crutch.

Although, this does not apply to all rich who have helped many in need, for example, the movie, Schindler's List. This was a rich man that bought many Jewish people in order that they may not perish under the madman Hitler.

No, it doesn't mean He was black. But he was middle eastern, and look at their hair. It looks wooly in some cases, straight in others. It just means He had curly hair, as many people do. He was also dark skinned, but not black.

And too, a lot of people don't know that Moses married a dark skinned woman. She was from Ethiopia. Would you say that she was a black woman or brown skinned? Most people from her part of the world are considered black. What was she?

Just curious.

That's right. I said he was brown... though he could be black, and yeah, Moses was w/ an Egpytian! Egypt is in Africa, so by definition, Moses was with an African... but it's speculation on her too... she could black or brown. But w/ Jesus, it wouldn't b the first time a white racist Roman imperialist society lynch'd an outspoken black dude before.

like I said and another person more or less said, Jesus was middle eastern. They ain't black. and to those who claim Egyptians are black, wrong again. King Tut had european type dna..white man's dna. And not all of Africa is black populated..south africa, for one. The Romans were smart people. But they had their faults, too. And guess who chose Barabas life over Jesus?

Four University of Alabama football players were arrested and charged with second-degree robbery following a pair of incidents early Monday morning.

Linebacker Tyler Hayes and defensive lineman D.J. Pettway were charged with second-degree robbery while defensive back Eddie Williams and running back Brent Calloway were charged with second-degree robbery and fraudulent use of a credit card.

According to the Tuscaloosa News, Williams and Hayes admitted to attacking a student, punching him in the head and face and kicking him in the back and rib area while he was unconscious. They stole the victim’s backpack, which had an Apple laptop in it.

Williams said the group committed a second robbery where he punched the victim in the face while Pettway and Hayes watched. Williams stole the victim’s wallet and used the student identification card to buy snacks from the vending machine in the football player’s dorm.

This is the second jail stint for Williams this week. He was charged with carrying a gun without a license on Sunday.

“A clerk in the store told police that Williams came into the store and was acting erratic and threatening that he had something in the trunk of his vehicle after a dispute about paying for gas,” TPD Sgt. Brent Blankley said in a release.
“The suspect and other occupants of the vehicle left the store and began messing with something in the trunk. The clerk then called the police.”

Police found the car, stopped it and searched Williams, who was sitting in the backseat on the passenger side. They found a gun in the back of his pants. He was arrested, charged and released on a $500 bond.

All four players were backups during the 2013 BCS National Championship game.
