Everyone forgets that there is a treaty in place that can't be broken. Whether we like it or not there is. If the Indians are on welfare it is because we taught that to them. It is a learned attitude. We need to go back to the basics and learn to work again. Nobody deserves to be handed anything. But you can work for something. Welfare as a whole needs to be abolished and education and training needs to be the mainstay. Everyone needs to get off welfare and NY is one of the biggest supporters of it. Elect the Demorcrats out and replace with people who want to help people out not keep them where they are.

well I think it fair as long as the native Americans can still get them tax free which will lead to an Native American more likely purchasing for a non native american.I just don't know how the government can change amendments to suit them like this? One day we may not be able to vote, they will change that one too

My taxes keep going up up up to pay for school tax property tax. If I am correct you need to be 72 here to get a tax break. Most of the people here who vote YES on the school taxes are section 8, we change all over in suffolk county.

Are native people living like they did 200 years ago? Do they not pollute as well? Do they not drive cars,etc.

In Canada, the legal tobacco industry is being forced out but illegal sales from natives are thriving. There are no age restrictions when buying tobbaco from the natives.

I hope Canada can add taxes to tobacco sold on the reserves.
