DA: Robbery led to teen being struck in Ayer road
An Ayer teen is facing charges in a robbery that prosecutors say drove 15-year-old Corey Buxton of Shirley to run into a road where he was struck and killed Wednesday night.

The boy cried when he faced the judge, tears of sorrow, no tears that he got caught! A good boy lost his life for $20.00. Do these kids ever think of the results for what they do. Maybe he thought it was a video game...

1,500 dollar bail, your kidding me right. After the incident he fled to his non residential addresss in Fitchburg to, as he put it "lay low". Bail is to ensure the safety of the public and to weigh any and all flight risks. Neither was addressed by the District Court Justice. What happened to the dangerousness hearing, that got buried along with the victim in this case.
