If the Bridge is such a safety hazard why has the damaged bridge on Main St. Which gets the majority of the traffic gone un-repaired. Come on Andy, I know your reading this. whats you answer. So much for planning.

Oh by the way Madam Chairman, while moving the money to Stabilization was probably the right thing to do, your expnantion was idiotic. The money would just vanish but rather go into the general fund. I would say get as much as you can in Stabilization to get ready for the Law Suits you will have. I really pity the new CxO.

If you are referring to the Chairs wife, nice guess, but as usual
not exactly on the mark. I know of whom you speak and can assure you he does not read or comment on these blogs. I won't use his words re bloggers and blogs, not polite/politically correct in these forums. But you most assuredly prove his rather pointed remarks and overall thesis.
I'd also conclude that you'd not say anything to his face, nor the chairs. I'd venture to say probably good to hide in anonymity of the internet and forums, would be the most healthful.

Maybe we can find the money to repair the sidewalk at the bottom of Lancaster Road soon... I worry about the kids who have to walk/ride their bikes around the concrete pylons that have been there for YEARS. Since this was an insurance claim, I'm not sure why it hasn't been taken care of yet... perhaps someone in the Selectmen's office can explain it?
