If it was a result of bullying, I hope the culprits are brought to justice. Its such a shame to have such a promising young life taken. My prayers and sympathy to her family.

NOTHING! has been done for those matters!,and then we have to see those young lives going away for no reason,it makes me so sad but at the same time so angry! i also have a daughter the same age and believe me! something like that happens to her because LHS authorities negligence? i will go to the bone to see them pay for it! so so angry! and my prayers to the family of that young girl.

schools dont give a craaap,,they want to sweep this stuff under the carpet.bullying should be dealt with just like a crime, treat the little snots like adults. create a new bullying law and send the little a holez to jail.

While I admit technology has made it more difficult for kids to escape their tormentors, I don't really think the nature of our schools has changed all that drastically. What I do believe has changed is kids coping skills. From what I've seen reported in the media, it appears that teens are more likely than ever to take their own lives when faced with adversity. Therefore, I don't feel that the solution to this problem lies solely in punishing the "bullies". I believe every student could benefit from curriculum that teaches them to deal with these situations in a more healthy manner suicide.
