must be a kid of someone of prominence for leone`s office to cover up the bullying suicide in ayer.just as his office covered up the muguane twins bullying until someone was killed.UNDER George Frost and Leones office, only 2 children from Ayer are dead but yet they find theres no reason to be suspicious.Do not re-elect Leone people and fire George Frost before more kids die.

If you only knew what you were talking about. Clearly they don't have all the facts to say it was certainly a bullying incident, there a several more variables that played a role. You mention two children who's the other one?

What a terrible time to be a kid. So much anger and cynicism out there. We have created a world where there is so little to look forward to that suicide is a more viable option. Sad.

FYI-
Even when you go through the "bullying" process in HS...fill out bullying forms etc.
End result" Its just girls be "EMOTIONAL"...no resolution because noone cares until it turns tragic. Totally disgusting that noone is held accountable until it turns tragic!

You are right it is sad that nooone is hel accountably until it turns tragic thats why parents need to talk to their children everyday and ask is everything god in school. I live in leominster and this one child kept picking on mine everyday at the bus stop and in school and I notified the school and my sone would get suspeneded along wiht this child for defending himself at the bus stop finally of course it got p[hysical with this boy and my son so I had to takit in to my own hands and press charges and a restraining oreder. These kids today dont think about anyone but themselves and it is sad......

My heart goes out to the parents of this child. Children mimic what they see on TV every day they mimic what they hear at home from the parents. They make life hard for others that do not deserve the hatred, the bullying they get. I think it is time for parents to take responsibilty and make life just as hard on the schools that ignore this type of behavior but it is also time they sit that child down and say "if you do this" we will do this the heck with Dr. spock brink back the spanking, the going to bed with no TV, no computer, no supper. Bring back being a parent with rights and one that does not have to fear what will happen if they repremand said child.

If I find out that this girl did tell her parents and her teachers and nothing was done to be pro-active to prevent something, THIS should be a wake up call to all parents, teachers, and students. The DA's office should require every single school, public or private, to have a discipline/ code of conduct that every parent and child over the age of 8,signs every year. There is too much tolerance these days, so no one has limits or boundaries anymore. No respect, no fear of God. This poor girl. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

My daughter was being harrased at Fitchburg High, by a girl, she was posting things on facebook about my daughter and spreading rumors. My daughter confronted her told her to stop. She did not. So the last straw came when she posted rude things about my daughter, and a friend showed her, she then found the bully and got into a fight, the school saw what this bully posted about my daughter. In the end my daughter was suspended for 2 weeks and the bully , after the school saw her cyber bullying, got 2 DAYS suspension and got to go to homecoming dance. I think my daughter should have responded differently, but where is the fairness here?Bullying has got to stop.

omg....what the hell is wrong with everyone? Parents need to teach their kids to brush off bullying and to let an adult know if it is going on.

As a teacher, I can say that the bullying has gotten WAY out of hand, even in elementary school. However, as teachers, we can report bullying, but in the end it is up to administration to follow through and unfortunately administration everywhere sucks! They don't get the ramifications of brushing these situations off. And kids are getting hurt because they don't want to fill out the extra paperwork or follow through with discipline policies. It is disgusting!

I agree about keeping kids off of Facebook. I see kids on there as young as 9. Facebook was originally developed for college students. You can block your child's profile as much as you can, but their 'friends' can still bully them all they wish. No elementary school child needs a Facebook account.

A little websearching highlights the need for God to be included in education. It is allowed under MGL.

Also Bullies are now being labeled as Terrorists, acting the same way. That's mighty convient but if they are Terrorists who is their sponsers and where are their safe havens. From these posts sounds like school administration and the public school system.

Final mistake, let our public school systems take on the challenge of anti-bulleying contracts.

This is a behavior problem and very few in public education have degrees let alone advanced degrees in behavioral physcology. The schools are doing more damage than good. Oh yea and keep the politicains out of it to.
