Right wing extremists account for 56% of terrorist attacks and plots in the US; 30% by ecoterrorists; 12% by Islamic extremists.

I will provide a list later.

So you are one of those that has endangered those "children" by supporting gun control that prevents their parents and others from defending themselves.
What gun laws prevent parents from defending their children?

Ones that deny legal gun ownership...you know...those places that have gun bans but criminals still have guns and end up killing innocent people along with other criminals...like in Chicago.

Now there's a novel idea. Have a parent, armed with an AR with a large cap mag, sit with their child in the class room, play ground, etc all the way from pre K thru 12. Or, every parent could hire armed body guards. No protection means no school.
If more good guys were packing there would be less gun violence. That being the case, all good guys should be subsidized by the Gov to purchase ARs and ammo and paid a bounty for killing a bad guy. Those not wanting to pack heat or kill their fair share, should be fined.
Let's try any idea, no matter how ridiculous it is as long as it doesn't interfere with in ANY way our 2nd amendment right.

Why is it that the majority of mass shooters pick gun-free zones to carry out their murderous killing sprees??? Schools in particular.

I'm not sure why you would use Chicago to support your point. It doesn't even rank in the top ten US cities with the most gun violence. Those would be New Orleans, Detroit, Las Vegas, Miami, Baltimore, St. Louis, Memphis, Cleveland, and Philadelphia, in that order.

Chicago has strict gun laws; those on the above list have lenient gun laws.

I think you may have just shot yourself in the foot.

That's right. That's why I say an armed society is a safe society. We've been doing it all wrong. We've have gun restrictions and we still have gun violence. We need to try it another way. Arm everyone from 8 till death. No restrictions. Autos, grenade launchers, suit case bombs; the works.
An armed society is a safe society. No gun free zones, everybody has at least one slung and one hung.
I got mine, Rambo. Happy to see you have yours? Have kids? Grand kids? Old aunts? Arm their arses.
An armed society is a safe society.
Glad to finally hear from someone with some sense.
Do away with gun free zones. Charge for them.

Why is it that MOST mass murderers are right wing gun nuts......like the Connecticut school shooter....Timothy McVeigh....Timothy Nichols...that Brevik (SP?)-- the Norwegion right wing nut........AND Jim Jones went to the left later in his life, but his background was as an extreme right wing bible thumper.

Very, very good article.
Especially some of the correlations that were observed like; The rate of gun deaths is negatively correlated with states that ban assault weapons, require trigger locks, and mandate safe storage requirements for guns.
Chicago's problem, as well as other cities with high rates of gun violence, is best summed up IMO by one observer who stated, " “Chicago is not an island. We’re only as strong as the weakest gun law in surrounding states.”

The law abiding good guys can’t carry weapons on school grounds, its illegal remember! Gun violence happens in these GUN FREE ZONES because a shooter knows no one will oppose them for a while. Train and arm school staff and teachers to respond to an active shooter today than wait for your ridiculous goal of banning weapons in the future.

"I'm not sure why you would use Chicago to support your point. It doesn't even rank in the top ten US cities with the most gun violence."

It was the city brought up by the person I responded to and is the number one city for firearm murders.

"Chicago has strict gun laws; those on the above list have lenient gun laws."

So if they are so "strict"...why is it the number one city for firearm murders...? Criminals are armed...their laws do not stop them from acquiring a gun illegally. Their laws only stop those willing to comply with the law. Their laws prevent those that comply with the law from obtaining a firearm for their own defence. If it were strictly criminal on criminal crime without innocent lives being affected, I wouldn't care...but it isn't.

Jim Jones was always a left wing extremist. In 1951, when Jones was twenty years old he became a member of the Communist Party USA, and began attending meetings and rallies in Indianapolis. By the time he was 45 years of age he was an openly admitted atheist. Jones, the darling of the left who was froends with Walter Mondale and Rosalynn Carter was responsible for the deaths of 909 men, women and children.

John Wayne Gacy was a Democratic precinct captain who had his picture taken with First Lady Rosalynn Carter. He was executed by the state of Illinois for raping and murdering 33 young men and burying their remains under his house.

Jared Loughner was another left wing nut as was the Pentagon shooter.Clay Duke,Tte Florida school board shooter was a left wing whacko. The LA cop killer was a fan of the liberal press , Barack Obama and Michelle Obama ans was pro gun control.LOL

Actually just more Democrats shooting themselves in the foot, the butt, the head, etc...

All those cities were carried by Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 and are Democratic strongholds.

Ban violent Democrats.

Funniest thing--Barack Obama carried THE MAJORITY of cities in both election years. Oh yeah, he won. I guess you right wing nuts are the minority.

Did you ignore the article that revealed statistically right wing extremists comprise the huge majority of perpetrators of mass murder sprees and plots.

Let's think about this--the vast majority of people do not commit gun crime. Gun violence is committed in ALL cities by a small number of nuts, and guess what these nuts have in common? Why yes--they love their guns. So, using that logic, I'd say it's possible the violent gun crime perpetrators are probably Republicans. Democrats aren't gun livers, are they?
