keep section 8 out of my neighborhood. Put them all in the getto then i wouldnt care if i had to pay for them to live there. just keep them out of my area and my school. We need to re-open St. Clair Village and Arlington Heights, Westgate village and all the other projects in the city of Pittsburgh. then that will get them animals out of tax payers neighborhoods. when they close projects down where do you think they move the animals? TO YOUR Area. Keep the projects open. call your congressman and tell them to re-open the project and then they can put homeless people in there also.
Do you think that will make everything right?

If section 8 residents cannot afford to support kids why have more?
They do regardless of race because everyone else pays.

One of the problems with Wilkinsburg is it has loads and loads of section 8 housing which is bad for the community the owners of the homes do not police the residents and they do not keep up the property, it has been documented that where ever section 8 homes are that mainstream crime is the main issue.
I live across from a whole row of section 8 homes and the owners Arhco has done nothing to make sure those that are living in the homes are really the ones on the least. The one house at 1439 Mill st zip 15221 had a man die in the house of a drug overdose I was told heroin.
Around 2:00 in the morning the coroner's van came to bring the man out in a body bag it was the residents boy friend who had been living there.
When the company and HUD was notified about the man dying in the home from a drug OD to this very day nothing has been done. And our tax dollars continue to pay for those people to stay in that home. Most of the crime in Wilkinsburg can be tracked back to section 8 residents, who have nothing vested in the community. I am hoping that funding stops for this program or at least make those in the program pay over 70% of their rent and utilities. The program needs to be harder to get involved in and those on it should only be able to stay on it for 7 years or less. No more generations living on the Government. ;)
It's the part of the responsible to pay. Reason for no objections to Section 8.

That is not true at all poverty and crime has nothing to do with it, and there are people on section 8 that are not Black. The program is for losers most people in the program are either on drugs, alcoholic's or have some kind of criminal back ground i for one do not want my tax dollars to support them.
You cant get section 8 if you have a criminal background and if you or ANYONE in your household get in trouble you lose your section 8. Idiots

Yes, but those on Section 8 don't properly report those living with them. Families with kids in trouble with the law known aren't removed. The program is making exceptions or not checking some already on the program. The lady that left her kids in the house was on section 8. Apparently, section 8 has many without records getting them often.

Damn the person that came up with Section 8. I hate section 8 people. They reproduce like animals. I cannot wait for the day Link Cards, Section 8, unemployment checks etc. are banned from this country. I believe people on section 8 should have their own town. Let them kill & abuse each other.

I don't care what races they are. Section 8 is a fking scam. Gorv need to stop this program. Owners raise rents and even pay for tenants too. Owners love section 8 caused they don't have to fix the place for years. Plus the payments been paid by Gorv on time. Section tenants are drug, fraud, criminals.....
