Police: Looking for Phillies fan in mourning

Shippensburg police say there were no reports of a large green furry character in Shippensburg that could be blamed for the smashing of a windshield with a pumpkin after the New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Philles for the World Series title Wednesday, so they are instead looking for a Phillies fan in mourning.

Well, a broken windshield isn't cheap to replace, and I believe that a replacement windshield never seals as well as the original. It was minor, but it WAS a crime, so the PO did their job, even if their attempt at humor fell flat.

Wow..i used to buy the paper every day, im so glad i no longer do. Who the hell is running the paper now? is the editor a 7th grader? that is probably THE most horrible head line i have ever seen. its not even funny. Yes i do believe that it was a crime, and an expensive repair, im not belittling what happened, but it belongs in the police log, like all the other vandalism reports.
