Vote for Raese

United States

Folks, just a reminder to get out and vote for the school levy..44 cents on every 100.00 is nothing compared to the cost you will be charged to send your child to school every year. You have no idea! Books, field trips, school supplies.... Right now a parent may have to pay $20 out of pocket. Without the levy you are looking at $400-500 a year, per child possibly. My sister lives out of state and they don't have a levy. Children have to reenroll yearly. To enroll you have to pay $300!!! Nothing is free people, not public school, or healthcare, but that is another subjet.
You older folks without children....think of your grandchildren and your great grandchildren.

And what if you don't have kids in the public school system? How much do you save then by vote for higher taxes? I don't think Raese is campaigning on a platform to encourage higher taxes, so maybe you should be voting for Manchin, since that's where your heart is.

Good one.....first off, I bet you either don't have any kids or your kids are in public schools or have graduated from public schools. Second, voting for this levy will NOT increase what you are already paying. Third, whether this levy passes or not, you will still see School Levy on your property taxes. That is straight from the state that is NOT voted on.
There is lots of Pork spending, but when dealing with the kids, I have to vote for it even if the money is mismanaged some. I am not going to see them suffer just to prove a political point.
And, please, don't presume to tell me where my heart is. You have no clue.
