I was excited to have a sports bar close to home to stop and grab a bite to eat. The place is big. The bar staff friendly. However, the pizza was the worst I have ever had. It had an enormous amount of grease on it. The bottom crust was doughy, probably because of the grease soaking through. I took napkins and saturated the napkins when I tried to pat some of the grease off. The owner was there and knew the problem with the pizza. I thought that with it being a new business and wanting word-of-mouth to be good and have repeat customers, there would have been at least an offer to reduce the price or give us a gift certificate to use at a later date, but nothing was done. I will probably go back, however, I am disappointed nothing was done. I will NEVER order a pizza there again and would recommend that others don't either, unless some major change is made.

I also had a fish plate there which was mediocre at best. I disagree with ghost towner, there are a number of sports bars with great food...this place does not offer that. I will go back ONE more time, hopefully they get it together soon...there are way too many good choices out there to settle for mediocre

Much of the same as listed. Food average at best, service not so good.

Better alternative is a existing sports bar 2 miles away (The StoneYard). Much better food, service and atmosphere.

I was at Lazy Dog for a band the night before Thanksgiving and let me tell everyone, the bar staff was great. We had a big group of people there and they were very busy, but yet we never had to wait for a drink. Service is so important and I have to say that they did an exceptional job. Glad to see that there is still good employees out there who really care.

I had a pizza there last week and it was very good, I think they figured it out.

I have gone to Lazy Dog many times, but within the last few months I have been noticing a real decline in service, but only on the weekends. The bartender that they have on during the week nights is great! On the weekends they have both owners, Laurie and Terry, bartending. They should not be behind the bar, they just don't have what it takes to bartend, they do not pay attention to the customers at all. Laurie stands behind the bar talking to her "boyfriend" and ignores everyone else, how rude! The other one with the half black half gray hair, I think her name is Becky, is very snotty and rude to the customers. Good luck getting a drink if you go there on the weekends! My friends and I will not go there on the weekends anymore, but we will go there during the week so if you're looking for a nice bar for happy hour during the week, you'll be fine. I can't remember her name, its either Donna, Dawn, Diane? Not exactly sure but she is very friendly and you will NOT have to wait forever for a drink!

I totally agree with you Sarah! The weekday bartender, Donna, is great! She has a great personality and an awesome sense of humor. She will talk with the all customers and before you know it she has involved alot of customers into conversation with one another. I have made new friends thanks to her. But it is a completely different bar on the weekends. I was wondering why they had such "crappy" bartenders working there, now I get it, its the owners! Sarah you are right, they do not belong bartending. They have no personality at all. And that Becky is terrible! Most of the time you will see the bartenders congregating with one another, not with the customers. My opinion, the owners need to come out from behind that bar and walk around talking with the customers. They need to get rid of that Becky, and hire some good weekend bartenders!

I love going there during the week day. I totally agree with u guys the service sucks on the weekends. I don't understand why they can't get better bartenders during the weekend. Sometimes its busier during the week I think because of that fact. Another thing is most bars give u a free drink after u have been there for a while and the bartender will during the week but the owners won't. I have just about had it with that place, even though it is close I'm thinking about going somewhere else on the weekends.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
