There is so much food for Coyotes to eat here in Sherwood that it is hard for me to believe a Coyote would prefer to attack a human. Pet's are always fair game though and people need to be aware of that when out walking their dogs. I go walking and jogging a lot! I see Coyotes often here in Sherwood, but they seem fat and happy and very uninterested in me. I haven't felt threatened yet. The woman who claims that Coyotes are killing her chickens, she needs to find a better way to house them, I grew up on a farm and we always waited until the chickens went into the chickenhouse, then walked out there and closed AND locked the door so nothing can get in or out. We also placed the hounds near by so they would alert us to their presence. She has choices she needs to look into.
