I am a nurse. I work three jobs to make sure my family has health insurance, a roof over their head, food, electricity, and the basic necessities. I took full advantage of the public school system that our state provides. Evey person in this state is given a free education. It is up to the person to get zn education. I went to college, took out loans and now I am paying them back. I get irked when I am paying for a young girl that is 17 and having her second child. Maybe she needs to be studying the free books provided to her instead of studying the ceiling. This healthcare system that Obama wants to enforce is going to be funded by me and all of my hardworking taxpaying friends. Not the ceiling studier. Why should I take care of someone who does not want to work. I do not like working all the time but I must take care of my children.

I work in a state funded hospital. I see crack heads who have shot up all of their veins and get cellulitis. Then they need antibiotics. Iv antibiotics are very expensive. We cannot send these patients home on iv antibiotics because they use their central lines to shoot up more drugs and occkude their lines. I have seen people stay in the hospital 30 days, no insurance, getting iv antibiotics, and then need a butt load of of pain meds because they hurt. Remember who is paying for this. Us the taxpayers. Oh and let me say they have a family member or 10 who want to stay with them. This requires a bed, fitted sheet, flat sheet, a pillow and pillowcase and a blanket. That is all free. Not counting they like going into our nourishment room for our patients and eat and drink what they want. Why do these people think that we should hand them something. We live in a society of freeloaders.

My question is that if you are indeed a nurse as you say then its obvious that the medical field will accept any level of moron to work for it considering that I find you have the syntax level of a third grader! Please remind everyone of which hospital it is you work at because I certainly do not want to risk my health by being cared for by you!

I am areal RN. I am really tired of hearing "nurses" like this idiot complain about their jobs. If you do not like it, why don't you quit and look for a nursing job somewhere else? There are not all the same and some place are more low stress then others. You can work in a lower stress prone area. My graduating classmate is an RN who works in a call center taking calls and talking to patients on the phone. She makes $29/hour and even encouraged me to work there. But with school (going to grad school), I would rather continue working at my psych. ward because I hardly do any real work at all and it is easy for me to study there. I like my job. I am 24 years old. After my job is done, do not feel tired or have all these mental anguish problems when I go home. My work does not follow me home. I have another friend who also was in my graduating class who works as a private duty nurse taking care of ONE patient. She makes $35/hour (no benefits) and she loves her job. If a hospital is too stressful for you "Mamma" then find yourself a more appropriate position that suits you like cleaning toilets! Mr. Kane, you are correct in that summation Sir!

I was stating a fact about freeloaders, and how my tax dollars pay for their hospital stay. My employer pays for their family members to treat our facility like a hotel. Oh and nursing is not about how much money you make an hour. It is about caring for people in need of help. I give every patient the best care I can possibly give them. I treat every one of my patients with respect. What sucks is when they do not respect you.

No what is sad and lacks meaning is the life you obviously lead since I am not only one here that can tell you are a lonely,misguided,attention hungry woman correct? The question has arisen in another place I frequent on the internet about what makes a "good woman". I'm certain there are lots of criteria out there, depending upon who is doing the criteria making, and with that note I will say that you"Primrose" and the other loser are excluded from this opine since you two pencil dick losers do not know what a real woman is! I am just as certain that the majority of women feel that they are worthy of the definition of "good woman".

So, now I pose the question: What is a good woman?

In some areas of thought, a good woman is someone who is virtuous in the traditional sense of our patriarchy. She is gentle, kind, thrifty, clean, and pleasing to her man and family. She cooks a great meal, keeps a neat home, and listens well to the cares and woes of those she loves without having many cares and woes of her own. She is mother earth to all, and I am here to tell you as someone that knows this nurse that she is indeed a very good woman and great person!

In the religious sense of the words, a good woman is someone who is virtuous, who has faith and acts on it, who is gentle, kind, and serves others. She puts her religious beliefs into action by going to church, ministering to others, and living her life in accord with them.

In other areas of thought, a good woman is a successful woman in the education and/or career track. She is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound while building yours and her portfolio. She is ambitious, creative, intelligent, and resourceful.
