oh well, where did these parents think these boys were at this time of morning. I have the same age teenagers and they have a curfew. What is wrong with these parents. That is what is wrong with this picture. Where were the parents, where did they think their kids were. Now its time to worry, to late, should have known better and got more concerned before all this happen. I go to calling my kids if their a minute late. I don't rest or sleep to I hear them coming in the door. This is what is wrong with this world. Parents give their kids to much freedom, and this happens. Praying for you.

What parents wouldn't know where their kids were this time of morning. My kids would have a curfew, and I would of been calling to see where they were. I guess records should have shown parents calling cell phones to see where kids were, not friends.
Concerned parents would of been on top of it when their kids didn't get home by curfew. Looks like their concerned now. What is this world coming to. Will be praying for safe return, and more parental concerns, on keeping up with kids whereabouts.

Jeremy and Bob i totally agree. If my child breaks curfew and i call and they dont answer id be out looking. Some parents these days dont have a clue what there kids are doing.Hope they are found safe.Sorry for the language on my former post,But im sick of people running there mouths and disrespecting people.

What jerks you guys are. How condescending. Hope it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass. Perhaps these kids said they were spending the night is really not that shocking, but you should know that already since you seem to know everything. My kids will have a curfew too when they are old enough but it is not an impossibility that these boys told their parents they were one place when they were actually elsewhere....been happening for a hundred years....just usually doesn't take such a tragic turn. Praying for the families instead of judging them since I admit I know nothing about the specifics of this events. Really, the only thing that matters is the boys need to be found.

I went to school with these boys. They are nothing but great kids who get good grades. They would never pull a stunt like this. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I pray for them every single day, and now I will pay for you guys as well.

I think from reading the twitters and facebooks of these boys, especially Jake that he was a bit wild. Putting a 12 pack of Platinum in your backpack and that making for a good day at school makes me worry as to how irresponsible the driving was on this early am venture after leaving a party. Just scary and as a parent of a child the same age...i dont go to sleep until she walks in my door and we converse!! Kids raising themselves and dealing with alcohol every which way they turn is what this world is coming to. Sad future for our youth!

ANBW I hope you dont have problemswith your children,Because with your soso attitute maybe you should give them some warm milk and rub there bellys and read them a book. Your kids may lie to you but mine knows better to lie to me. Wish you luck.

I agree there is no telling what they told their parents of where they may be. One could be going to Jakes while the other is going to Rays. I don't bunk a lot of parents verify those things especially with boys. I too have read twitter and instagram and it's clear they liked to party but they or no one else deserves anything bad happening to them. I've followed this case from the beginning I'm actually quite surprised there isn't more talk on topix about it. Tonight is the first time I've checked here.
I feel it's prob an accident and if they did survive a crash the likelihood of them now. Being alive is slim if the crash was bad. Idk I just hate all of this.

Since when does a court date make a someone a bad person? No matter the situation you should never try to make a tragedy about yourself. Quick question, did you go to Bandys and graduated in 2011?

Now it seems officials believe that based on the condition of the car, the accident was not a single car crash, but was the result of a collision.
