that was my wife Beatrice Alcala and daughter Marissa Alcala and two other friends Stacy Kirby and a lady names Miss Betty that stoped to help. the Truck was coming up fast behind my wife and when he went to pass her the two cars crashed right next to her she said it was horrible something I wish my youngest daughter should not have seen they try to get the doors open to no avail and could hear the people screaming for there lives.

If I could please ask you to remove your post... It was my dearest friend and his brother in law that were in that crash...Expecting his first son in November...Already has two daughter's and a wonderful wife and sister that have suffered a tremendous loss and to hear that would be devastating

I offer my sincerest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this horrible tragedy.

Were any of the victims local people? The news outlets here still haven't reported any names.

I have been with my dear friend all night and all day who happens to be the mother of one of the victims. Whilst we all appreciate and commend the numerous people that help or attempted to help - the first post was more than we needed to know. It is gut wrenching to watch my friend read that her son was screaming for his life in a burning vehicle. Sometimes less is more and every family member of the victims are looking for more info on the internet so please be cautious and considerate. We owe our gratitude to those that did stop to help and show compassion for human beings!

Sounds like your wife went sped up when the driver tried to pass. Was she text messaging? I sure hope not. A sudden speed increase by the vehicle being passed would explain an insufficient amount of time by a driver to get back into their lane.

This requires investigating.

Thanks to those who stopped.

No thanks to those who posted painfull information such as the victims last moments. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Reporter, you are dreaming up all kinds of stuff there. Where did "text messaging" come from? Where did the "speeding up" come from? It was an accident, accidents happen you know? It's a terrible, terrible accident. Quit trying to sensationalize it with all kinds of theories.

Sounds like to me that it was to ignorant aholes passing when they shouldn't be passing a because they did, they killed an innocent man. The truth will come out. Don't hate because his family tried to help yours even though they probably didn't deserve it.

I am one of the victims mother whose son died in this accident. It is a terrible loss for everyone involved no matter who was at fault. There is no correcting this terrible tragedy by pointing fingers when you do not have all the facts! Were you there? Or are you one of those that judge others based on your actions?

I am one of the victims mother and I want to thank your wife and everyone else who tried to help everyone involved. I wish however, that I didn't find out that people were screaming - one of which could have been my son..... I would have preferred to think my son died on impact and no one suffered.

If you don't know either of these families, stay out of it! It's none of your business. No one needs to be talking negative about any of this. 3 people died, not matter whos fault it was, those 3 people's families have to read this shit and deal with great losses. Have respect for the late and their families! How dare people talk about the dead when they are not here to defend themselves. Also, no one wants to read horrific things about the accident! It's hard enough as it is. Again, have some respect people! May all of the people that died in this horrible car wreck rest in peace. You are truly loved and missed by many! And to the families reading these posts, don't listen to the hateful people in this world. It's not worth it! I will be praying for all families involved. I hope you all find peace.

Apparently the two young men in the truck had been burglarizing a home(s) earlier in the day of the accident. Local news reported that some of the stolen merchandise from at least one home in Denison was recovered at the scene.
