OMG! OMG! OMG! We have to do something! Why are criminals allowed to run around with matches and lighters! There should be a law!

I agree. I will propose legislation requiring a background check and a 3 day waiting period on all lighter and match purchases. Additionally I think we should have a limit of 15 matches or less for a book of matches. Nobody needs 20 matches in a book of matches. It shall be a felony for anyone to sell, trade or loan matches or lighters without the background check, even loaning a lighter to a family member will be forbidden and could result in jail time.

Even though I am a lighter owner myself, and I know it is wrong, I would sign that bill anyway because it would make the liberals feel all warm a fuzzy and they would vote for me.
