The thing that I find most offensive in article after article on this recall is companies' continued assertions that "they have received no reports of stricken pets" or the like. This is absurd. As a pet mother who lost my beloved dog last month after recently introducing a Menu Foods product into his diet, I find this offensive and devoid of common sense. Why else would a company recall their product if not due to illness and death? Good corporate citizenship? I think not. Your article was slanted toward the manufacturer and offered no quotes from injured parties for balance.
