Why do the sheriff cars have county police on the back of them? Does anyone know? Is this something Donnie has done or Danny.

The sheriff is doing great, making nearly $50,000 per year retirement from Jefferson County, and nearly $80,000 per year as BC Sheriff. It doesn't get any better than that.

Why is the sheriff taking off all the toumbstone symbles from the county owned cars and trucks ? Was this against the law because its his trademark for his elections or was he getting feed back from angry citizens about wasteing our tax dollars IM not bashing I have ask many people at the sheriffs office and they act like its a big secret.

I liked the vehicles with all the stickers on them, but the car I saw looks great too without them, real clean lines either way, thumbs up to both displays, I'd like a set of lawman on my shop toolbox, still the coolest cop cars around, don't look like a cab company as shepherdsville's does ..
waisted money

They have only waisted money on all that junk,no other police agency in America is goofy enough to put those sort of silly things on police vehicles. We had a lot of our tax dollars spent on that stuff now we have to pay to take it all off !What is the real reason behind the removel of the toumstone guys ?I would be willing to bet it was a violation of election laws.

I do not have all the answers but ther are things out there that are a whole lot more wasteful than a few stickers, and possibly those decals may have even been furnished by money other than tax dollars, but no one mentioned that, as it is possible, as for election laws on line at the krs site of Ky Board of Elections does not reflect anywhere in the regulations, say it would be unless it is as in the form of a campaign sign or electioneering near a polling place, which it is not ..look for yourself .. its not in there.
