Yeah Daryl, I agree with Mac. Leave us alone. No need to apologize Mac. My comments were mostly for Daryl and MakeUgoHmmm or whoever. Glad that guys in IL where the service and food had better be excellent!! I just believe in giving everyone a fair shake till they give me reason not to. Now, because I comment on a restaurant I have to be kin to the owners. Everybody knows that here in Bullitt County we're all kin!!!! In fairness to your question, NO I am not kin to the manager, dishwasher, cook, bartender or the owner. But thanks for the idea!!!!
Actually I live in Shepherdsville, and was just as excited as everyone else to get something other than Waffle House to eat....until I tried it. I worked as a server for many years, new restuarants and established ones, and I would have never seen a dining experience go so bad. Appetizer: Cheese Wedges, came out uncooked, and hard in the middle. I am supposed to eat this? Sent them back, and 20 minutes later out they come! This would be acceptable, except for the fact that our food came two minutes later. I could deal with this as well, except for the fact that I order a salad...that I didn't get. I start on the appetizer and my dinner, and everything on my dinner plate was cold. The broccolli was so bad, that it seemed like it had not even been cooked...just sat under a heat lamp. Eventually, as I stated before, our meal was comped...but not once did a manager visit our table. If you work in this industry the number one rule is: "Something goes horribly wrong, make sure a manager goes over to smooth things out." No worries though, I guess that the manager doesn't like the thought of return business. So to recap: Food wasn't cooked, didn't get my food, food took a terribly long time, and couldnt even get a manager to stop by my table! THAT IS EXPECTING EXCELLENCE? ARE YOU THAT BLIND? I eat at Waffle House quite often here and Sheph...and everytime it has been a better experience that at Triple Crown. It's is pretty bad when my parents visit me in town, and want to try out the new steakhouse, but i steer them to Cracker Barrel in Brooks instead! I will never tough that place again...quite possibly the worst dining experience of my life!

Did you ever request the presence of a manager ? If that had been me ! No need for the wait staff, to get me a manager to address my concerns ! I would have demanding that my bill be comped.........NO questions asked !!! As,.....I surely would just NOT RETURN !!! I EXPECT to get what I'm paying for and will NEVER settle for less..........

ive not ate there but i agree i wouldnt have left without talking to the manager but i also think that the staff has a duty to ensure that the cust is taken care of if there was a problem then the waiter or waitress should have got them to comeover themselves a customer should never be made to complain to get the service they are paying for. A employee no matter what the job title is employeed based on their being business and if the value the job then they need to make sure everyone is satisfied.

The EMPLOYEE does have an OBLIGATION to his or her CUSTOMER as to make sure they are 100% SATISFIED customer!NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!!! As it is their JOB / DUTY to take CARE of this kind of matter !!!It should NEVER be left up for the CUSTOMER to hunt down a manager !!! Like i said previously in this forum.. If that happened to myself ?? I'd address the MANAGER personally !!!!!

I ate there last night with my boyfriend and found the place clean and the staff friendly. We waited a bit for our steaks, but it was worth the wait. They were both cooked to perfection. Prices were comparable to the other steakhouses in the Louisville area, so we were able to get a good steak close to home. Bravo to the staff and the cooks!

I have eaten here many times since the place opened. I must say in the last 2 weeks it has been horrid...smoking in a poorly ventilated building, the horrid sewer smell as soon as you walk in the door, not to mention that the food is not the same as it was when they opened. I don't think anyone is in charge...our waitress told us the manager quit. WTH...I guess another steakhouse will bite the dust. I say the city should demolish the building and turn it into a parking lot. BTW..I won't be back and will make sure to let everyone know how horrible it is. You have gotten enough of my money.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at this restaurant. I complained to mgt. after being seated and not even offered a drink for 25 minutes. The mgr. was a nasty looking lard ass who also doubled as the cook. After that, I ordered a drink that tasted weird and it occured to me that the drink tasted like dish soap. I had aready ordered my food at that point. After I had eaten most of my chicken breast, I found scrapings of lettuce, carrots and salad dressing under the rest of the breast. Seriously disgusting. AND intentional retribution for my complaint.
I, too, was excited about having a sit down restaurant in Shepherdsville but I will NEVER eat there again. I'll make the drive to the Outer Loop for Texas Roadhouse, Cheddars or the Olive Garden (opening soon).

People of Shepherdsville...please be smart and do NOT visit this restaurant. I ate there last night and it was DISGUSTING!! The steak was like shoe leather, it was supposed to be medium rare and it came out medium well...we waited for over 45 minutes...there were only a handful of people in there so it wasn't like they were busy. I have never seen a place so terrible. The employees were embarrassed, our waitress was very apologetic and said she was very embarrassed. i don't think anyone was in charge. I will never go back. My wife said the ladies room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. so i didn't even go to the men's room because they tend to be gross anyway. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE...OVERPRICED CRAP is what they serve.

This place is a joke....Nobody knows what they are doing. The bar is too smokey...I agree that there was a terrible sewer smell. I asked how long they had been open and when they said over 6 months I was dumb founded. I thought maybe two weeks. If they been open more than 6 months and the service is this terrible, the food is below average, and the atmosphere sucks they dont have a chance in hell. Surrender now your days are numbered. Back to Texas Roadhouse for me. Dont waste your time or money here folks.
