on Cedar Grove is finally open. Have you stopped in there yet? What did you think of the new look? I had no idea there had been so much room before. Nice and very clean.

Who owns it? If it's not locally owned, they won't get a dime of my money.

Well I have no info on the details of where the owner lives. Just sharing that it was open finally.

Well, who owns it regardless of "where" he or she lives? I believe you are connected to the store somehow, which would mean that you know who owns it. Since you refuse to say, I'll assume it's someone with a shoddy sense of the English language.

Actually I just live off Cedar Grove and have nothing to do with the new owner.

You have a nice day now.

Looks like they are not getting your dime. And by how busy it was today I don't think it really matters if they do. If that's causing you to not go into the store then good luck driving around town trying to find one that is locally owned! Lmao!!

Commercials are more effective than topix! You also avoid putting yourself out there on a forum like this where, by the time you're finished, you will be a laughing stock. Good news is...its only topix hahaaa

Once again I have NOTHING to do with the store. Just a happy chic that doesn't have to drive down 7 miles for gas.

The only reason I posted this was for the local ppl who WANTED to know when it would be opened.

Didn't know it would be turned into any sort of drama.

Yes, of course, because that store is so extraordinarily successful. Right? I only have to drive a few miles to see the Barnyard, which is locally owned, dear.

Now, let's see how many other names the owners/ operators can make on this thread to promote their overpriced store.

Sassy! And I'm sorry to disappoint but I've never worked in a convenient store! I seen this post and thought I'd comment on this since I went inside their store today. I live on the other end of cg and this store is very convenient for my family. And I've lived on cg rd for over 30 years and I love that little store no matter who the owner is. Dear!

I went yesterday too. I however miss how the old store was it was a friendly inviting type of place, now it is like a 7-11 or something don't care for it much. To each their own ill probably stop by if I'm on empty but other wise I'll make the drive to Shepherdsville.

Hey Deatsville, I live out in this area as well, and like you, I will probably only stop for gas if I'm on empty as well. I will miss how people would hang around the store and talk but I guess the days of a community country store are over. I personally am feeling a little nostalgic about that. But the older fellas don't sit out in the front of the court house anymore either, time marches on..

I have lived in CG all my life and as stated before the Country Store was always a friendly place were everybody knew everybody. Now the store has an owner that can not speak literate English. If your going to sell me something speak English or go learn how. It's sad how our government gives these guys interest free loans and they pay no taxes for 10 years. How nice. Local folks would not get such a gravy deal. My how things have changed in CG.

Exactly! And as long as we continue to support them, they continue to have opportunities that others don't (loans, taxes, etc). I'm willing to bet they live in the store as well.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Virgo

You have energy to burn today and it needs positive outlets, otherwise you'll be rather ratty and impatient. You want to work on activities that will show you in a good light, and you'll be annoyed if anyone objects to what you're doing or points out where you're going wrong. If you've been nursing a secret passion for someone, the frustration will really get to you.
