Are these your children? Why wait until 2 wks before Christmas to ask for help? There are organizations that could help you, schools, churches. Topix is not the place.

Sometimes we just have to help people, if they need it, perfect! If they don't, well thats on them, at least the giver is doing good and has the right intentions. Doesn't look like they are asking for alot.
Tis the season :) you get what you give, maybe not at the moment, but at some point.

Theses are children that go to roby elementary. I am the Vice President of SkillsUSA (a high school organization) and these students were given to us for the angel tree to help provide them with a Christmas. We don't know their names or situation , we are only given the information I posted first and are told that they are in need. You can email me at BullittCountyATC.SkillsUSA@yah oo.com
Please don't spam and only email if your willing to help out. I can meet you or pick up these items. Thank you so much . God bless .

You're a freakin moron, why is it fake & why would someone ask for help for two innocent little children to have a Christmas unless they needed it!!!!

Why is it that anything that may be good, is turned to crap on this site? There are plenty of other threads for arguing, why would someone put the Chester post, I mean really? Sad that they get to enjoy the same oxygen as normal people.
Like I said, what comes around, goes around, better to be on the good side of it!

You're exactly right Honey Bee, everything is turned to crap on here. It just makes me so angry for someone like chester to say & to even think about working something like that, it disgusts me.

So, Chester's comment was deleted.

I think anytime we see such a comment, we should call the FBI. I bet they don't play with such foolishness.

Thank you to the people who actually care and want to help. We have to have these items turned in to our advisor this Friday, so if you could get anything and email me before then it would be greatly appreciated!(:

No these are not my children, but I care enough to help others out. And topix isn't a place to help out people in need, but it's a place to degrade people and have feeds about someone's family and personal issues? I'm sorry but I completely disagree with you.

Don't worry about the trouble makers.
When a child is in need you advocate help any place you can. I admire what you're doing and pray it Helps them. I WISH I could help! If I had known a little sooner I could have. Sent too many goodies to the deployed, my family agreed we all forego any gift giving and sent boxes upon boxes to them instead and it felt great! Always does. Help if you can, if not move along, don't degrade another for trying!

What Angel tree are they from ? and i would love to help, but i'm not feeling real good about this , for one have never heard of a high school with a group called Skills USA,and if there is really, what school are you at, if i can pin point that there is actually a group that needs to help, then you will have my help>>>>>> sorry for the mistrust.

I believe the problem stemmed from them having to quickly and recently come to KY for a job. I believe there is a cutoff date to sign up for those things, maybe they got here too late? I don't know, this is what I've gathered from previous post. I understand the mistrust because there are those that do scam, but it didn't seem they were asking for anything other than small things for the kids. I could be wrong, I'm a little too kind hearted at times but I'd rather know that if it's really needed it's there.

I do however feel that too much emphasis is placed on material gifts at Christmas time, but hey that's another thread right :)
