Bullitt County Court system is set up to make money for attorneys who have supported the judge well. Investigate and see who makes the best money because of who the Judge likes. Attorneys will upset a judge for fear it will hurt their pockets and judges will even it out to insure their buddies pockets are lined well. There are many Louisville attorneys who will not come to Bullitt County to represent a client. I tried to get 3 to do so. They told me that is a strange court and they will not go there. Does that tell the citizens of Bullitt County that something is wrong. I was even told by one attorney that even the Jefferson County Judges know how strange that system is. Why is it? Because there is no way any one can get a fair judgement or bench trial with judges who are in a "good ole buddy" system. It is a circus court and is an disgrace to decent and fine attorneys in other counties.

So honest and right on the money. They are a very corrupt bunch. They have destroyed so many lives with their little games.

Are you saying that there's a good chance you'll get off if those girls are involved in the trial???

If had a nickel for everytime I've heard that same song...The fact is,,,it is what it is.You can't speed it up.You can't slow it down. And you certainly can't stop it.Mass confusion clouds every courthouse in the country.Where advocacy meets enforcement. In it's rawest form.Roll with it,,,or it'll roll over you.And actually, this one isn't all that bad. They seem to stay as peaceful as you will allow them to.Paying taxes and getting tags will always be a nightmare though. The life sentence on the annual installment plan.Upsetting those girls would be on par with angering Ms.Ward in her courtroom though.Good luck with ya.

I'm just saying she has no clue of what's going on when it comes to real crimes...doesn't matter.. been there and witnessed her at the worst. Very disgusting. If you don't see that then you must be sitting with her drinking. She's has no concept of anything but what her bff tells her.

I sure hope this is NOT true, have a case going to court with Lorie Rakes as the other parties lawyer,it's going in front of Ward , if I lose this Judge Ward will not be doing justice for the officer that worked our case be cause he spelled it out plain of who was in the wrong !!!

Hate to tell you lookie, but you are in trouble.
Lorrie Rakes has run the system for years. It was even worse when Judge Taylor was on the bench

Dont wear a t-shirt or shorts, dont speak out of turn,if you have a lawyer let them do the talking unless Judge Ward asks you a question then try to anwser yes mam no mam. She is a fair judge just dont piss her off. Respect her & her courtroom. Good Luck.

Can't say that I've ever shared drinks with Ms.Ward.However,if timing, lighting, and circumstance would fall together,,,I just may have a chance. And yes,she looked deep into my eyes once with that "you're goin' down" look in hers, but it didn't seem like a real good time to invite her for drinks. And actually,if protocol is still the same,District Judges see more 'real' crime than Circuit Judges do because they decide what goes to Grand Jury.Which means they deal (in a hands on way) with every criminal that gets sent to Circuit,,,in addition to the felons that see the District Judge and have the case dismissed to technicalities or snitch deals or whatever. And if what you're telling is right,it sounds as if you need to make her bff, your new bff.Good luck.

Thats hearsay and can not be used .. statement overruled, strike that statement off the record and the bench warns you on this kind of testimony !
