Saw that running on TV - it's posted up on YouTube. May just be airing through the cable system so if you aren't watching those channels you may not see it.

Belcher has her own ad up claiming the ad is false - her rebuttal is that she was endorsed by the NRA so she can't be a liberal. Since the ad was about her very real liberal record on voting for tax increases and increases in debt levels, how the NRA would be relevant to those issues is beyond me (and is also a moot point as Webber has the highest possible rating from the NRA as well). She denies she is pursuing a liberal agenda, and then after that cites her endorsements from liberal organizations as reasons to vote for her.

Russell Webber would be the worst choice for any office. He is disconnected and is rarely involved within the community. As I spend most of my time attending a variety of events, I can tell you he is never around. Besides, how many times will this make him running...it is obvious why he has never been elected. IF Bullitt County wants a republican in office, then put someone on the ballot that is involved, educated, and aware of what Bullitt County needs. Webber is NOT endorsed by the NRA. Liberal agenda? That's hilarious. I guess only liberals use the millions she brings into Bullitt County. Vote Webber, watch that money dry up and him find an excuse why he can't deliver. I would like to see a side by side comparison of Webber's accomplishments and endorsements compared to Linda Belcher's.

Russell Webber has the highest possible rating a candidate can have from the NRA - non argument on your part. Without Senator Hornback's leadership in the Senate, none of that money she supposedly "secured" would have existed...another non argument. If we keep increasing our debt service there will be less and less capital available for these projects as more and more if it gets taken up by compounding interest.

"I would like to see a side by side comparison of Webber's accomplishments and endorsements compared to Linda Belcher's."

Accomplishment / endorsement comparison: Belcher has voted to send our debt to an all time high. Webber has failed to accomplish this - no experience or record in accomplishment in voting for massive debt increases; Belcher has accomplished not answering where she stands on the issue of abortion - "No Response". Webber has failed in the task of not letting us know where he stands on this issue - endorsed by Right to Life. http://www.krla.org/2012_KRLA_PAC_GENERAL.pdf ; Belcher has accomplished not letting us know where she stands on multiple serious issues of the day - Webber has failed to accomplish this same thing as he has publicy taken stands on these issues so the voters know how he would represent us http://www.votekentucky.us/KyHouse49.pdf ; Belcher has accomplished supporting liberal state house leadership such as Greg Stumbo (strong, vocal supporter of Obamacare and blocks tax reform, pro-life legislation, etc. from getting to the floor for consideration)- Webber has failed and likely will continue to fail to accomplish this if elected - in fact will probably really blow it by supporting more conservative leadership that would set an agenda reflecting the views of the people of Bullitt County! Belcher has succeeeded in getting the endorsements of multiple liberal organizations and office holders - Webber has failed to do get such endorsements and instead gets endorsements from conservative organizations and leadership.

Our current state representative, Linda Belcher (D) has proposed more than one piece of what is bad legislation in my opinion, but this appears to be even worse than originally thought - HB 221 - to take away local control of wastewater treatment and essentially give control of it to Louisville's MSD to set our rates and make us a partner in their huge debt. Read all about it here:

http://archive.org/details/Hb221-ItsAllAboutL ...

And excerpt from the above:

----------

"But here's a relevant fact that is not mentioned by any supporter of HB 221:

Louisville's MSD has a $2.7 BILLION debt service problem that it accrued all by itself! It NEEDS MORE MONEY in the worst way possible. It can solve some of its future money woes through HB 221 by shifting FUTURE DEBT onto the backs of the rate-paying citizens of BULLITT, OLDHAM, HARDIN, MEADE, SPENCER, NELSON, and possibly SHELBY counties.(Oh yeah ... the Ky House amended HB 221 to ALLOW the shifting of FUTURE DEBT to ALL members of any wastewater commission created under this bill.)

Everything this bill proposes to "solve" CAN BE DONE NOW under existing KRS.
Everything EXCEPT imposing UNREGULATED FEES on the citizens of the BULLITT, OLDHAM, HARDIN, MEADE, SPENCER, NELSON, and possibly SHELBY counties! HB 221 will ALLOW these fees to be imposed upon the citizens of those counties!
(See also:
MSD Exec Dir admits everything HB 221 would permit, MSD can already do now, BUT now MSD has to get the approvals of all those pesky local governments before MSD can impose UNREGULATED FEES and charges)
Aren't you glad that we posted this info here? For, you see, Louisville and MSD supporters won't tell you these important points. HB 221 is ALL ABOUT what "big brother Louisville" wants and doesn't care about the "little guy" neighbors in BULLITT, HARDIN, OLDHAM, MEADE, SPENCER, NELSON and SHELBY counties."
----------

Yet this bill wasn't just supported by a Louisville Representative - but by our very own...why would we want to be a shareholder in massive debt we had no role in creating?

Just another in a long list of reasons to vote for Russell Webber. Linda Belcher I hear from many is a nice person - I won't contest that she is, and have nothing personally bad to say about her... but I have no reason not to believe that Russell Webber is also a nice person...but that's not the issue...we need someone who will vote for nice legislation, too, rather than bad.

What does the state think their doing raising a sales tax on so many small business people. Services etc. My goodness, their getting as bad as federal government. We have been in business for 40 plus years, and the government has just about whipped our butts. I can't wait til next election and see if we have learned by our mistakes.I'll have to say though that my votes haven't all been lost , I did switch to republican. Although I did make a mistake in our judge executives race, I won't be a part of that again. Please don't allow the state to raise more taxes on us. Thank you linda bleemel tinnell, owner , operator of lindas cafe in shepherdsville.

Funny how these democrats switch parties when things go bad. Our party doesn't want you. The only reason you switched was to be able and vote in the primaries. And you will be voting for former democrats. You have stole enough from this county. Please move on and rob someone else.

A crook is a crook- party don't matter- Tinnell, Eadens, Knox, Hudson, Farmer. Being crooked is not a party thing.

Does Webber even have a job?
